You can do this.

Gritting your teeth, you groaned and heaved yourself forward, dragging your body towards the end of the dimly lit tunnel.

"Almost...there." You managed through a gasp. It was as if this invisible force held you back, preventing you from reaching the light. Digging your fingers into the mud, you prayed that it would give you a boost to the finish line. Unfortunately, it was of no use. The mud was slick and wet, siding with the invisible force. You yelled in frustration, unable to tear your eyes away from the glowing spot a few feet in front of you.

Noise bounced off the walls of the closed in area, causing your attention to momentarily shift. Flitting your eyes up, you come face to face with a beast. It hovered above you, reeking of the stench of garbage.

"You shall not pass!" It boomed, bringing up its gleaming sword as you cowered in fear. Three letters were engraved in gold on the sword, and as you scrambled forward in hopes of escaping the sharpened weapon, you see the reflection of the letters in the mud.

(Whatever that's troubling you)

"NOOO!" You cry out as you shoot forward, clawing desperately at the mud, focusing solely on the goal of getting out of the hell hole. A piece of string lay limp a short distance ahead of you, and as you made a grab for it, you succeed. Hauling yourself up against the gravitational force, you weep tears of joy, the ray of light right within arms reach. You make a mad dash for it, the beast thundering towards you behind your back. Light embraced you as you make it out into the opening, drawing in ragged breaths as you kneeled over to catch your breath.

Falling onto your back, your arms graze the lush green grass as you look up to the sky. Clouds were far apart from each other, the sky an endless blue. A relived sigh escaped through your lips and you closed your eyes, contented with the fact that you'll no longer have to face the beast again in your life.
