9 Months Later~May 2019
Intercontinental Maui, HawaiiDerek is lighting the candles on the nightstand by their bed in their hotel room when Alex walks out of the bathroom.
"Baby." He turns around to see his new bride standing in the corner in a dark peach niglige and robe with her hair pulled down to her shoulders.
"Wow." He's in awe at the beautiful woman standing in front of him.
"How is that always your answer to everything?" She laughs as she walks up to him.
" I can't help that my wife looks so sexy all the time." He says as he wraps his arms around her. He still has his white dress shirt on with the top buttons undone.
"Say it again."
"My wife."
"I love the way that sounds." She wraps her arms around his neck and she kisses him. He moves his hands down her back and to the back of her thighs. He lifts her up and she wraps her legs around his body. He lays her down on the bed and starts kissing her neck.
"I love you Mrs. Jones." He says into her neck. Alex opens her eyes and realizes that she still had his wedding gift in her bag. He had gotten her a silver heart shaped necklace.
"Baby, we gotta pause for a minute."
"You alright?" He says as he looks down at her. She sits up and takes a deep breath.
"I wanna give you your wedding present but I don't know how you're gonna react."
"I'm gonna love whatever you got me."
"Okay." She gets off the bed and and took a small silver box out of her bag.
She walks back to the bed and sat on the bed across from him. She hands it to him and he shakes it to guess what's inside.
"Well it's lighter than a watch but heavier than a key to a new car."
"No it's pretty big." She says.
He opens the box and reaches in to pull out a pair of baby air jordans.
Derek's face is in shock and he covers his mouth in surprise. "Baby are you for real?"
"Yeah." She nods as she starts to cry. "We're having a baby."
He keeps out his place and hugs her. They fall back the bed and kisses her face.
"How far along are you?"
"11 weeks. We kind of got a head start on babies when we got engaged. I wanted to wait until it was safe and tell you. I know we were gonna wait a while before we started trying but I really wanna have this baby together."
"Baby I am so happy."
"You are?"
"Yes. We're gonna have a family." He kisses her and moves down to her flat stomach. "Hey little man. It's your daddy. I can't wait to meet you." He showers her stomach with kisses, making her laugh.
"You know it could be a girl right?"
"Whatever it is, he or she will be just like it's mom."
"I love you."
"I love you too."

Alex was waking up in her hospital bed after her c-section. She opens her eyes to sees her husband sitting in a chair next to her, holding their daughter in his arms wrapped in her pink blanket.
"Look who's awake Mani?" He says as he stands up. He sets the newborn on her chest and kisses his wife's forehead.
"Hi baby girl. We really made this."
"We really did. I'm so proud of you."
"Good to hear cause I'm expecting my push gift to be good."
"Don't worry I got you on that."
"You better. Ten pounds and four ounces baby." There's a knock at the door and they knew the family was ready to meet the new baby. "Come in." The family came in with balloons, teddy bears, and flowers for them.
"Hi baby girl. Congratulations." Carlotta said to them
"Thank you."
"Damn that's a big baby girl." Star says looking at her god-daughter.
"Ten pounds girl." Alex says patting her back.
"Oh girl god bless you." Bruce says patting her knee.
"Oh no I had that c-section."
"She has a full head of hair too." Cotton says.
"That's that heartburn for ya." Star says.
"She's so chunky and looks just like you." Simone says to her.
"So what's little mama's name?"
"Her name is Emani Victoria Jones. The middle name's for my mom."
"That's beautiful. Hi Baby Mani, I'm your god mama." Star says talking to the baby and she starts crying.
"Oh Star, she don't like you already." Cotton laughs.
"She don't know me yet."
"She just tired right mama." Alex says kissing her forehead and she let's out a squeal. "Okay maybe not."
"She's probably hungry."
"We'll give y'all some privacy." They left the room so Alex can nurse her baby and she immediately latched on. He sat in the bed next to her and ran his hand over his daughter's thick hair.
"Wow you were right she was hungry."
"I stay looking out for my girls."
"We really have our little family."
"We do. It's just the three of us." He wraps his arm around her and she rests her head on his shoulder.
