Natasha is ready for Devin as he walks toward her, he throws another punch, this time at her head and she blocks it with her arm.

She opens a gap and punches him hard in the gut once, twice, and a third time. She kicks out his knee and he falls to the side.

She kicks him in the chest and he falls on his back, she scrambled on top of him and starts to strangle him as hard as she can.

He starts to laugh as his face goes red. He grabs her arms with his hands and holds his claws on her jumper.

"Don't make me do it Natalie."

She doesn't react, and so he digs his claws into her forearms, her face immediately contorting in pain.

She squeezes her hands tighter around his neck, he digs his claws in deeper.

"You know..." He struggles for breath. "If I was still a human you'd finish me in seconds." He digs in more, she fights back tears. "But I'm not... You know, I think I can feel your bones."

He takes his claws out and hits her now weakened arms from the inside. They buckle underneath her and she falls on top of Devin.

He pushes her off and slowly gets to his feet, laughing. "You know, maybe you had a good idea, getting them out there involved earlier."

She gets up again slowly, almost staggering. Blood drains from her arms and drips off of her fingers. "No."

He quickly runs over to her, taking out her legs. She hits the ground and before she can get up, he grabs her leg and drags her toward the door.

He gets to the door, and is about to open it but pauses. "Maybe you should enter first."

He puts his hands underneath her arms and pulls her to her feet, shoving her against the wall by the door.

"Then, if there's anyone else who's playing pew pew, you can see how it feels."

He quickly grabs the gun from the other side of the room and brings it back, pressing it into her spine.

She opens the door wide and scans the room. People hide under tables and there are blue flashing lights and sirens outside the building.

Natasha raises her bloody hands, showing she has no weapons, and steps slowly out of the bathroom.

People gasp as Devin exits, he smiles. "What? You never seen a guy use a women's bathroom before?"

He laughs to himself. He pushes Natasha into the centre of the room, the gun still trained on her.

"I think we should play a game of 1 v 1, don't you Natalie?"

Devin circles Natasha, looking at the people under the tables. "Anyone care to volunteer?"

Silence.

"Come on guys. The winner advances, you can all have a go if you want."

Silence.

"I'll go." A male voice calls out from behind a large copy of the New York Times. He sits on the other side of the room behind Natasha.

Devin frowns, moving over to the man almost instantaneously.

"You will?"

"Yeah."

The paper drops and a blast hits Devin in the face, so hard that it takes his head clean off.

Tony watches Devin's headless body hit the wall, his head now in a few million pieces across the bar. People scream and begin to get up and run toward the door.

He deactivates his glove and quickly gets up and moves toward Natasha who is frozen on the spot.

He doesn't stop walking, he puts his arm round her shoulder and starts walking toward the bar.

She pulls away from him in defense, not realising who it is. She raises her hands to fight Devin again, and freezes when she realises it's Tony.

Tony looks down at her bloodied red hands and her torn clothes and sighs. He sees the fear in her eyes.

He puts his hands on her shoulders in reassurance.

"Hey, it's me. Come on, we gotta go."

He puts his arm round her shoulder and they walk toward the staff room.

"We'll be making a swift exit through the back."
