"Nearly 50,000 steps in the last two days." Coran said proudly.
Lotor looked closely at his wrist. "61,004." He said smirking.
"67,456." Lance said laughing. "Beat that."
"Sure." Keith said. "84,509." He said.
"What?" Lotor and Lance said together.
"Did you run a mile every day?" Pidge asked.
"No. I don't know I must've just walked a little more." Keith shrugged.
"A little?" Matt asked.
"Yes. A little equals 20,000 now." Karin laughed.
"That's insane Keith." Romelle said shaking her head.
"It is." Allura said. "So what about 94,341?" She asked holding up her wrist.
Keith's jaw dropped as they all scattered over to Allura and peered at her wrist. "It's true." Lance whispered.
"Ok class." Shiro said. "Everyone ready for the final day of Coachella?" He asked.
"Um no. I don't want to go to school." Pidge groaned.
"Me neither." Lance said.
"Ill be at your house for a few more days." Karin said to Pidge
"That is true..I guess that not so bad." Pidge smiled.
"I have to go back to New York tommorow morning, sadly." Romelle said. "But. I got the guys number from the pool yesterday." She held up a fortune cookie paper sized note.
"Who?" Matt asked.
Hunk explained the whole ordeal, leaving out the part about everyone's date being out of their league or not while Romelle told them his name.
"His name is Terrence. He is from Australia and this is his third time going to Coachella cause he lives in Palm Springs."
"Why would you get his number? Most likely you'll never see him again." Keith reasoned.
"You don't know.." Romelle said smiling.
"Seriously though we should go we have spent enough time here." Shiro said checking his watch again. It was true, they had just been sitting around in their separate rooms for hours watching Netflix and sleeping in. Now it was nearly 3 o'clock and almost time for the first person they wanted to see perform.
The first choice was Boy Pablo- An Indie Pop Rock band that Hunk and Shay knew about before introducing it to the friend group a few months back. When they found out that the band would be performing Shay was estatic and couldn't wait to see them in person.
They arrived at the festival and rushed through security and sign in to get to the Gobi where the band was already setting up. Nicolas Munoz , the main singer and vocalist, was waving and smiling at the crowd which was already pretty big. Everyone was waving and cheering.
"I'm some excited." Shay said. "Nicolas is cuter in real life." She said smiling.
Hunk frowned before Shay turned to him. "But not as cute as you." She gave him a quick peck on the cheek before turning back to the stage and jumping up and down cheering.
The tropical and chill beat started up and the crowd went wild. Everyone started jumping up and down and clapping, but the built up tension died down as Nicolas began to sing.
"As you can see she hasn't met him yet. She already fell in love I bet. Her keyboard gets slammed by her fingers. But he replies with "OK" every time, every time." The crowd swayed and sang along softly. Knowing very lyric.
