Millie POV

I look down at my phone after saying goodbye to Noah and Sadie and it's the Duffer brothers.

" Hello brothers what can I do for you?"

"Millie do you mind coming in tomorrow early we have to talk to you."

" Of course, but if I did something it was Noah he made me."

" Did you do something Millie?"

I gave them a sarcastic no and they laugh so I started to laugh. On the record, I did nothing I just like to get Noah in trouble it's an ongoing joke we have with the Duffers that we get each other in trouble.

" I'll meet you both in the writer room early in the morning. Is that right? Goodbye have a good night."

" Yes it is and goodnight millie." They both said that in syne it kind of scared me a little bit not going to lie.

I then went around my house and said goodnight to my family then continued with the my nightly  routine then went to bed because it was late.

The next day

I woke up to my alarm and spent a few minutes on Instagram looking at mileven and fillie edits. Until I had to get up and get ready I was kind of scared for what the Duffers want to talk about. Usually, if it was important the whole cast would be called and Noah and Sadie would call me in a panic thinking they are getting fired but I didn't receive any frantic calls last night.

After getting ready I walked downstairs to see my mom making breakfast.

" Good morning mama brown what you making?"

She turned around fast like I scared her and asked me why I was up so early then I explained that the Duffers needed to talk to me.

" Then Millie you should head out breakfast won't be ready for a long time so go to Starbucks and get some food and a coffee." " ok mum loves you I'll call you with what they wanted to talk about." " have a good day sweetie.''

Then I saw that my uber was here and left to go to work and with every minute passing I got more nervous. I arrived and after saying thank you to my driver I got out and started heading to the writer's room.

I knocked and they said to come in so I did. The Duffers and Shawn were sitting at their desk looking very professional.

They stood up and after saying good morning with a handshake we sat down and all three took a deep breath ,that can't be good.

Matt opened his mouth first to start," Millie you have been performing as Eleven the whole five season and we can't be more grateful and proud." Then Ross started and I felt this lump in my throat, " We are so happy that we casted you to play our beloved El. However, we need a crazy way to end the season knowing that this is our last. This wasn't the original plan but we have decided." Then he stopped and looked down like it was too hard to say and Matt looked the same so Shawn started.

" To end the show we have decided to kill Eleven which will then kill all the monsters in the upside down and close the gate for good. "

I could hear my heart break the character that I helped create and perform is going to die. El is a part of me and they are killing her. I started to tear up and Shawn handed me a tissue.

Matt started talking again,"We're sorry Millie but Eleven would sacrifice herself to save her friends and we think that's how her story needs to end." I looked up and tried talking but nothing came out. Ross held my hand," Millie you can ask us anything."

So I tried again I opened my mouth and words actually came out, " How would her story end?" Shawn put his hand out like I got this one, " She would have gotten married to Mike and they would have had kids and the party would be happy. But that wouldn't explain how the upside down ended sadly." I fished his sentence," So she has to die." " Exactly."

I then asked another question, " How does Mike react?" Ross took this one," He takes it pretty hard but he goes to college and he prusues science and writing. He writes books about Eleven and then he then try to find out how El opened the gate with the help of Eight and the party." I then interrupt, " Is he ever happy again?" " No he will never be as happy as he was with El but he is trying to keep her in memory and create her a legacy."

" My final question is when do I film my death scene?" They all look at each other and Shawn relays with, " Tomorrow and the last day of filming is the next day. You can't tell anyone about El's passing until they have the script." " Of course am I free to go?" " Yes Millie we will see you at filming today."

I walk out of their office and call my mom.

" Hello Millie, what did they talk to you about."

" I'm going to die and I film it tomorrow."

"Oh, sweetie I'm so sorry I know how much Eleven means to you. Do you want me to come to set and help you with the grieving of your character?"

" No mama I'm ok I have to film with the group today."

" Ok Ava needs me so I have to go but if you need anything call me and I'll be right there. Love you."

" Love you, mama." Then I hung up and went to Finn and mine trailer seeing him crying on our couch. I rushed over and knelt down.

" Finn, what's wrong?" He turned to me and looked at me with his red bloodshot eye.

" I'm not ready for this show to be over and I don't know what to do after the show." I hugged him and patted his back, " Finn you have so many shows to do and you have your band to tour with. You are going to be busy."

" Yeah Mills but I'm going to miss you guys.'' " I will too but we will see each other and we can still talk." He has no idea that Eleven is going to die and I don't know if I can keep it from him he has this magic touch that makes me spill everything to him.

" Ok, Mills I love you." " I love you too Finnie." Then we hugged and talked about our future jobs and about his tour. I really don't want to come tomorrow I'm going to miss this but mostly spending majority of my time with Finn and having an excuse to kiss him.
