The First Day

Millie POV

It was the first day of season 5 of Stranger Things it was said in secret that it was going to be the last season of the show and it put me in a funk. I kept on thinking to myself that this was going to be the last first day of filming the show that started my career. However, I was very excited to see my favorite people in the world after 5 long but wonderful months.

When I arrived on set from my uber I could feel the same atmosphere I did when I was 12. I saw all the people I love but I was excited to see the people I love the most, CAFT. I went over to the CAFT services and got my food and went over to the chef.

"Thank you for the food I am very excited to see you and the others for the next 9 months!". The chef said thanks and I was off to my trailer.

When I arrived at my trailer I saw that I and Finn shared a trailer as we do for almost every season. I thought it was only my first day and that the rest of them started later this week. When I open the door I only saw darkness and being scared of the dark I took the walk to the light very carefully. The light turned on brighter than ever and 5 heads popped out of every wall and hiding space there was and all screamed "Surprise!".

They gave me the biggest scare I have had in years. It took me a few seconds to recover but when I did I was covered in hugs. Noah came up first with open arms," Surprise Millie I told everyone that you would scream." " Thanks, Noah at least I know I was worth a bet." Caleb and Gaten were arguing about when Caleb would be getting his $10 from me screaming. Sadie ran right up to me and shouted in my ear," Hi best friend it feels like I have not seen you in years". "It has been 2 weeks Sadie and we FaceTime every day but I missed you too."

Then the one I wanted to see the most came up to me. " Everyone can you all leave our trailer me and Millie need to talk." , Finn said it is calm but it needs to be done the voice. Everyone knows when Finn does that voice to leave right away so they all did his orders, to be honest, I thought I should have left because of how his voice was.

We sat down on the couch we have had since the 3rd season and talked for what felt like hours until Finn started by saying, " Has Jacob been bothering you anymore since I talked to him." "Finn I don't think hitting him counted as talking." " That's not what I asked is he talking to you mills?". I kept on avoiding eye contact I know that Finn can see these things so I tried my hardest to keep it away from him. " Millie its an easy yes or no answer," Finn said in anger. I finally had to answer him and told the truth, "Yes but he isn't being that annoying" As I watched Finn's eyes grow with anger he asked through the side of his mouth, " What is he asking for then?".

Before I could answer him Ross duffer came in, " Mileven your turn in costume.". My heart broke that I could tell Finn what Jacob has been asking me but when work calls you to have to go.
