The Scene

Millie POV

Today is the day I die. I cried myself to sleep last night but I couldn't talk to anyone about it because I'm sworn to secrecy. The Duffers said that I could come tomorrow for the last day of the show and probably will but I first need to get through today. Its also Finn's last day but he doesn't know that because of the change in the script.

I woke up to my alarm like I do every day while I was scrolling through Instagram I heard a knock on my door and it was my mum, dad, Paige, and Ava carrying breakfast.

Ava hoped onto my bed with help from my father and gave me a hug.

" I'm sorry El has to die today. But can you still do her voice for me?" She gave her puppy eyes but then with a little excitement that she will always have El living with her. " Of course Ava but give me some time to grieve over her." " Sure but don't take too long."

My mom handed me my food and picked Ava up "Ava we should all give Millie some peace she has a long day today." Ava gave me a kiss and they all walked out slowly. I finished my breakfast thinking about how the writers are going to have me die, I kind of hope that its in a heroic way.

After eating my delicious breakfast I washed my plate and went back to my room to get ready. I took a shower and brushed my hair and teeth. Then I had to choose my outfit, I didn't feel like getting too fancy so I put on Finn's calupurnia jacket, that he left last time we had a group sleepover, on and some sweats and went downstairs.

Once arriving downstairs Ava ran ups to me jumping into my arms, " Can I come with you to set?" She said in her puppy dog eyes I then returned the face with my sad one, "No I want to spend my last day with my friends but you can come to the party." She looked sad but happy to go to a party with the whole cast. " Ok have fun and FaceTime me when you can." " Will do love you."

With that, I said goodbye to my family and walked straight into my uber trying to mentally prepare myself for the day.

Once on set the Duffers ran up to me with a hug, " You ready?" " Yep, it's not like I almost die every season." The Duffers start to sarcastically laugh and they walk away getting ready for the day. I walk to my trailer which is empty I grab my script and see the first thing to film is me screaming before I die.

I walk to hair and hug Sarah, " Millie I'm sorry you have to die. But hey at least you get to do your amazing acting skills." "What skills? But I'm going to miss not having a cute mileven ending." As I finished my sentence the other half of mileven walks through the door looking very emotionless and quiet.

I look at Finn and say," Good morning Finnie." He just nods I thought that was weird because he always talks to me. Something is going on with him but first I have to finish today and then I can help him.

Once dressed in costume I go to set and see the Duffers and Shawn near the cameras. Shawn comes up to me and explains the scene, " So Millie in this scene Eleven is fighting the mind flayer in the lab. You are trying to out beat him but it isn't going too well. So I just need you to do the Eleven stare with your hands out and scream." " Easy."

I then go onto doing the scene and ending it with a sore throat so I go to Finns and mines trailer to make some tea. While walking in I see Finn on the couch reading his lines very quietly, he usually says then aloud to remember faster. I didn't want to distract him so I made my tea and sat on the couch reading my lines for my next scene which is Eleven trying to protect the party and succeeding.

After going through my lines for a few minutes I hear a knock at the door and I go for it because it doesn't look like Finn is getting up anytime soon.

I open the door to be attacked with hugs from the whole party all in costume. Sadie lets go and says," Why didn't you tell us you are going to die?" " I learned yesterday and the Duffers said to not tell anyone." We all just kept on hugging and Finn didn't even look toward us. Something is going on with him and I have to figure it out fast.
