{Chapter One}

~Axel's P.O.V.~

Last year in seventh grade, everyone else and I made introduction videos. After that, we discovered this secret area just outside of U.A. Now, it's like our hideout of sorts, a place where we can hang out and be ourselves. All of us hang out here at least every once in a while. Today, Denki and Zuku were sick, so they couldn't show up today. Boris was being the normal asshole, so I knew he wouldn't show up. So, Xeno and I started on our homework, per usual. 

Everything went just like normal until Xeno brought up a certain topic. "Axel, do you have a crush?" He asked. I felt my face heat up with embarrassment. "W-Well, yeah." I said, not denying the fact. This seemed to excite Xeno slightly. "Well then, who is it? I swear I won't tell or judge!" He seemed really happy about this.

"Ah, well... y'see... it's... um... I-It's Mayumi..." It was hard for me to say, but I had finally admitted it. Xeno looked me in the eyes, a serious look on his face. "I give you my complete and full permission to date my half sister." He said, probably not meaning to admit the last part. I raised an eyebrow. "Half sister?" I asked. Xeno nodded. "Yeah... about that..." 

"We have the same dad, but he had an affair with Ejirou and got her pregnant before he got Izuka pregnant. She's not too much younger than me, only a few months. It's a little bit of a sensitive subject for me, but I don't mind sharing it with you." Xeno explained, rambling slightly. It made me feel slightly awkward. "Sorry I brought it up, I didn't mean to be rude." I apologized. 

Xeno shook his head. "Nah, don't worry about it, I was going to tell everyone else about it anyways." He said, dismissing it. I thought for a moment before I spoke again. "Hey, Xeno, who's your crush? I swear I won't tell either." I asked, getting curious. His face flushed. "I-It's Akira T-Toga..." He admitted shyly. It seemed strange to me.

"Woah, really? That seems kinda weird, but I'm okay with it." I said, placing a hand on Xeno's shoulder. He looked up at me. "You're not okay with it, are you?" He asked. I shook my head. "I am fine with it, I swear!" I insisted. As I said this, Mayumi appeared at the entrance. "Hey boys!" She said cheerfully, smiling brightly. I forgot how much I loved that smile.

"Hey sis." Xeno greeted, sending a quick wave in Mayumi's direction. She looked at me as if we was waiting for me to greet her. "H-Hey M-Mayumi, it's nice to s-see you." I stuttered, my face tinted pink. She walked over to me, placing her hand on my forehead. "Are you sick? Your face is red!" She exclaimed. 

I shook my head. "N-No, I'm fine. Thanks f-for caring though." I replied. Mayumi smiled again. "No problem. Don't forget that if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here." She insisted. I smiled shyly. "Y-Yeah, I know." I replied. Xeno leaned over to my ear. "Tell her how you feel, this is one of your only chances." He said. I nodded. I can do this, I can do this! 

"Hey Mayumi?" I asked, looking over to her. She looked back at me. "Yes, what is it Axel?" She replied. I took a deep breath, it's now or never! Looking into her green eyes, I mentally prepared myself. "I- ... I like you!" I blurted out. Her pale cheeks became tinted with pink as she looked at me. From the corner of my eye, I could see Xeno flash me a thumbs-up. 

"Really?" Mayumi asked, her blush tinting more. I nodded. "Y-Yeah." I said whilst stuttering. She grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me into her. My lips crashed against hers. After we broke away, I gasped for breath. "Sorry, I forgot to mention that the females of the Bakugo family tend to get really flirty around their crush." Xeno said, sheepishly smiling. Now he tells me!

Sorry it was so short! I'll try my damn hardest to make them longer!
