{Chapter 15}

Ever since Kyoko had come back, she hadn't been able to go anywhere alone. She had at least one of her siblings with her at all times to ensure her safety. Unfortunately, Mayumi had lost track of her whilst they were walking. This wouldn't have been a problem if the league weren't still trying to get their hands on the poor girl.

Kyoko walked alone, feeling like she was being watched. She tried to ignore it, speeding up her pace. This caused her to lose track of where she was going and hit a dead end. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" She heard a voice ask from behind her. Kyoko turned around and her eyes widened in surprise and fear. 

A girl who look almost exactly like her stood in front of her, smirking. "W-Who are you?" Kyoko asked, her hands shaking slightly. Her look-alike laughed. "What? You don't recognize me?" She teased, moving her black hair away from her left eye. Kyoko took a protective step backward, hitting her back on the wall. 

"I'm Konomi, your twin." The girl who Kyoko now knew as Konomi said, putting her hands in her pockets. Although Kyoko would never say it, she could definitely see the resemblance. The only significant difference was the jet black color of the left side of Konomi's hair and the scars that littered the poor girl's skin.

"With what I've been told about you, I would've thought that you wouldn't be such a coward. Oh how wrong I was." Konomi teased, smirking. Kyoko's hands balled into fists. "I'm not a coward!" She retaliated, anger bubbling inside of her. Konomi laughed. "Sure, sure. You're lucky I don't kill you right now." 

"Shut up!" Kyoko yelled, losing composure and firing off an ice explosion at Konomi. The more skilled sister easily dodged, smirking at how hot-headed her younger twin was. "Look, I don't want to hurt you." She lied, jumping behind Kyoko and creating an ice dagger.

"Well, actually, that's a lie. I would quite like to kill you here and now. However, I swore that I'd get you back to Shigiraki alive and well." Konomi admitted, almost grazing Kyoko. The older twin easily dodged Kyoko's continuous attacks. A sadistic smile spread across Konomi's face. "I don't think that they'll notice a few scratches, do you?"

The two fought relentlessly, until eventually Konomi had Kyoko in her grasp. "If I'm being honest with you, I don't really like being a villain. I'd much rather be innocent in this whole charade. Hero, villain, it's all just perspective. Stupid titles to make things make sense." She ranted, nearly breaking her sister's arm in the process.

"That damn idiot... he's lucky I do all this bullshit. Once I turn you in, I'm home free. I won't have to worry about the league or that damn brat ever again." Konomi raged, continuing to tie up Kyoko. The younger sibling was trying to buy time, but it wasn't working. "I-If you don't mind me asking, who a-are you talking about?" She asked, although she didn't really care all that much.

Konomi sighed. "My ex... Taiko Shigiraki."
