{Chapter 12}

Days passed by like years for the poor girl. Kyoko felt hopeless. Day after day, night after night, she waited to be saved. All she wanted was to be free from the psychopath who was holding her captive. At most times, Taiko was fairly passive. Today, however, was different. The new generation of the league had been trying to get information out of her since the clock had struck twelve.

"How do your parents plan on taking down the league?" One of them harshly asked, gripping the collar of Kyoko's shirt. Tears threatened to spill from her eyes as she attempted to push away. "I don't know!" She answered, trying to escape the horrible situation. Her breathing quickened. "Bullshit!" Exclaimed another, slapping her across the face.

Kyoko wanted nothing more than to use her quirk for the worst and escape. But she couldn't. Her hero mindset wouldn't allow it. So, all she could do was sit and wait. The heroes had to show up sometime, right? "Why don't you tell us, huh? We wouldn't want to have to hurt you~" One teased, playing with a switchblade in their hand. 

Sobs escaped Kyoko as she tried to explain that she didn't have the answers. Unfortunately, her reasoning wasn't good enough for the league. Multiple cuts, scrapes, and bruises covered her skin once they were done with her. She laid on the floor, bloody and battered. Tears ran down her cheeks. She was alone, for the time being.

Kyoko's solitude was short-lived as Taiko walked into the room not long after. He lifted her chin, forcing her to look up at him. "Hey, hey, it's okay. I believe you, sweetheart." He comforted, smiling at her warmly. She sniffled, barely able to wipe her tears away. "Come on, let's get you cleaned up," Taiko said, helping Kyoko to her feet. She followed after him almost soundlessly, keeping her head down.

~Meanwhile, In The Villain A.U.~

Izuku and Silver sat down and tried to explain everything to Katsuko, who got it pretty easily. "Wait, Silver. I have an idea." Izuku stated, looking over to the silver-haired boy. Silver looked up, raising an eyebrow. "What is it?" He asked, slightly worried. Katsuko stared at the two of them, intrigued. "We should travel to more universes. Make it like, you know, our thing. We go on adventures all over the place!" Izuku pitched his idea, using his hands as he talked.

Silver thought about it for a second. "That's actually a good idea. We could learn about more universes that way." He figured, seemingly deep in thought. Izuku raised an eyebrow. "That wasn't the reason but... okay! Let's do it!" He exclaimed. Katsuko sweatdropped. "Right now? Like, right now right now?" Silver asked, not prepared at all for the situation.

Izuku nodded excitedly, smiling profusely. "Yeah! Random universe! Let's go!" He said, pointing to the sky like an idiot. Silver sighed, nodding. "Alright then, let's go." He said in a depressed monotone. Quickly, he prepared a portal to some random universe. The other two followed behind him absentmindedly, not caring where they wound up. Kaisei followed even farther behind, creeping slowly.

~In The Omegaverse~

The four spilled from the portal right into the league's hideout. Luckily for them, only Kyoko was in the room. She jumped back, terrified of the four. As she was about to scream, she stopped. A spark of hope fluttered in her chest. Izuku scanned the room, looking for other people. Silver narrowed his eyes, looking for clues as to what universe this was. Katsuko dusted herself off, meeting eyes with Kyoko.

"Pardon me for asking, but what universe is this?" Silver asked Kyoko, keeping his eyes on the door. She thought for a moment. She'd known about the other universes for a while, but she'd never thought they were real. "The omegaverse..." She trailed off, taking in their attire. She met eyes with Kaisei and her face turned to one of shock. Somehow, she had recognized him.

Perhaps it was because Kyoko had seen Kaisei in one of her dreams, she didn't know. "Kaisei...?" She muttered, raising an eyebrow. He seemed shocked as well. "Kyoko...?" He asked. Everyone else turned to him as if they had just noticed him. 'When did he even get here...?' Silver thought to himself before shaking it off. 

"What are you guys doing here?" Kyoko asked, confused. Izuku smiled. "We're exploring universes! This just happened to be the first one we showed up in." He explained. Kyoko remembered about her situation. "Well, then maybe you could help me?" She asked, her eyes showing slight fear.

Izuku felt his hero side light up. "Of course! What's your problem?" He said, walking closer. Kyoko averted her gaze. "The league kidnapped me..." She explained quietly, rubbing the back of her neck shyly. A spark of anger grew inside of him. "We'll help you get out of here no matter what!" He exclaimed, his hands balling into fists. 

The only thing they had to do now was plan.
