{Chapter 4}

~Denki's P.O.V.~

Akira and Xeno break away from each other in shock. "Denki, Zuku?! What are you doing here?! You weren't even at school today!" Axel exclaimed, obviously surprised to see us. Zuku shrugged. "We snuck out our windows." He explained nonchalantly. Xeno raised an eyebrow. "Really?" He asked. We nodded. "Yeah," I replied. Xeno rolled his eyes. "That was rhetorical, Denki." He said in a monotone voice. I felt slightly embarrassed.

"So, um, are you and Akira dating or what?" I asked Xeno, curious about the situation. His face tinted pink. "I didn't really think about that before..." Akira trailed off. Suddenly, Axel but in. "I kissed Mayumi." He admitted, blushing. I gave him a high five. "Hell yeah dude!" I exclaimed. His embarrassment only raised. "T-Thanks Denki." He said, looking like he was resisting the urge to hide his face in his hands. 

"Hey, Akira?" Xeno asked. She looked at him, raising an eyebrow. "What is it, Xy?" His face flushed at the nickname. He took a quick breath to steady himself. "W-Will you b-be my girlfriend?" He asked, stuttering along the way. She blushed before hugging him tightly. "Of course!" She exclaimed. The two shared a kiss and left to Xeno's part of the hideout.

~Short Timeskip~

Mayumi and Axel are now officially dating, and currently, we are all just sitting around chatting about random things. "So, who do you two have a crush on?" Mayumi asked, leaning forward slightly. Axel sat up slightly, showing interest. "Yeah, who do you two have crushes on? I swear we won't tell." He agreed. 

I wanted to admit to my crush on Zuku. His beautiful heterochromic eyes, his multi-colored hair. He was just so amazing. But, what if he didn't feel the same way? What if he was straight or something? All of the possibilities raced in my head. "I like Denki." I heard Zuku say. Looking over to him, my face flushed more. He had to be joking. "I-I like Z-Zuku..." I admitted, trying my best not to stutter.

My eyes widened as Zuku's lips met mine. I knew that this was a moment that I'd never forget.
