{Chapter 3}

~Zuku's P.O.V.~

Since Denki and I need to get our homework, we decided to sneak out our windows. Luckily, it worked. We're going to pick up all of the work we missed now because all of the teachers should still be there. I go to pick up my English, and Social Studies homework first, since Denki and I have different teachers for those subjects. After that, we meet up in the hallway.

"Okay, let's get to the theater, Denki. We don't have all day." I said, starting to head in that direction. He followed behind me. "Right!" He replied. Once we got there, we saw our teacher. "Hello, boys. Are you feeling any better?" They asked, smiling at Denki and me. Denki answered for both of us.

"Yeah, we're doing great, thanks for asking!" Denki said. I loved how he was always enthusiastic about things. We learned what we needed to from our teacher and headed to the next class. This class just so happened to be math. Stepping inside, we noticed that there was nobody in the room. "Huh, that's weird. Maybe we should just go." I said, turning around to leave.

"Where do you two think you're going?" A voice asked from behind us. Turning around, we saw our math teacher, Mr. Keehl. "We were just going to grab our homework for the day, sorry for bothering you!" Denki apologized. I breathed a slight sigh of relief. "Oh, okay. Problem 6-48 to 6-56." Mr. Keehl explained, gesturing to a stack of papers on a desk. Both Denki and I grabbed one and left.

As we walked to our last class, Science, I couldn't help but sneak a few glances in Denki's direction. His purple hair looked so soft. His purple eyes never ceased to amaze me. Always filled with excitement and wonder. I was snapped out of my thoughts as we entered the classroom. "Mrs. Tokoyami, we were wondering what the homework was?" I asked, looking at her. She smiled.

"Oh, hello. You have to study the human anatomy. We have a test tomorrow and I don't want either of you to fail it." Mrs. Tokoyami said, handing Denki and I study guides. We bowed and said thank you before leaving. After that, we made our way to the hideout. "Ready to scare these scrubs?!" Denki asked. I laughed slightly, I loved it when he was like this. "Fuck yeah," I said as we burst the door open. Wait...? Are Akira and Xeno kissing?! "What the fuck is going on here?!" I yelled in shock.
