Morning arrived and woke up the two boys, they were both extremely excited, they got dressed quickly and found themselves stood in front of the fireplace with the floo powder, they looked at each other and smiled, they stepped into the hearth and Louis got a bit of the floo powder and threw it on the floor, emerald flames flew up around them
‘Diagon alley’ they said clearly. They started spinning yet again, travelling through the fireplaces. Their feet hit solid ground yet again and Once more their knees buckled sending them onto the floor.
‘Need to get used to that landing’ said Louis lying on his back winded
‘Yeah, defiantly’ replied Harry
They both stood up and realised they were in the Leaky cauldron again, the dust and damp was slightly overpowering, they walked up to the man from yesterday and waited until he finished serving a customer, Louis looked around at the others in the pub, he saw a few old witches on a table in dark clothes, talking quietly, The rest of the pub seemed eirily quiet. Then he noticed a woman with white blonde hair and a black strip sitting at a table, looking very uptight, a boy about the same age as him sat opposite her sitting upright and as he looked at him he seemed to look away. He had seen him fall out of the fireplace, he sighed
The customer left the bar and Harry and Louis walked closer to Tom, Louis put his hand through his hair getting it out of his face, he cleared his throat
‘Err, excuse me Tom?’ he asked him, he looked up and smiled at him
‘You were the ones with Professor McGonagall yesterday, are you not? How can I help you?’
‘Yes we were, and we was wondering if Diagon alley is anywhere near here?’ Harry asked kindly
‘Yes it is, follow me and I’ll show you the way’ he motioned for them to follow him, Harry took Louis’ hand and pulled him along behind him, they walked past the boy and his mother, both of whom looked up from their conversation and seemed to take in the look of both boys, The woman sneered at their joined hands, Louis smiled at them as he walked by, they got to a door and followed Tom into a small alley way, a brick wall stood in their way. Tom Walked forward and prodded a few of the bricks, Louis and Harry looked around him and watched as the brick wall as it seemed to fold its way backwards, until it became a archway. Louis and Harry peered around Tom simultaneously. They both gaped, shops lined both sides of the street, and it looked wonderful.
‘There you go, do the same on the way back and you’ll be back in the leaky cauldron, Good-bye’
‘Bye, and thank you!’ Harry exclaimed
They walked away from the archway, Louis looked back and saw it closing up, and he smiled and took Harrys hand, as to not get lost in the bustle of the busy street.
‘Did McGonagall say it was Gringotts?’
‘It sounds familiar, whoa, it’s wicked!’ Louis said through a gasp. There was a white marbled building.
'This whole new world we have entered is wicked, and I tell you what else will be wicked, if we go in there, get some money and then get our wands!’ Harry jumped up and down. Louis laughed at his giddiness, but he felt ecstatic, he was a wizard, and Harry was fast becoming his friend, he was going to start Hogwarts in less than two days and he would actually fit in.
They walked up a set of stairs to some bronze big doors, they walked into another entrance room where an arch stood, engraved on this were words saying
‘Enter, stranger but take heed, of what awaits the sin of greed, for those who take, but do not earn, must pay most dearly in their turn, so if you seek beneath our floors, a treasure that was never yours, thief, you have been warned, beware, of finding more than treasure there’ he had mumbled the words out loud and Harry looked at him following his eyes and frowning slightly before tugging Louis hand slightly. The two walked through the arch and into the main building, Louis eyes widened, there were rows of desks either side of them raised slightly, they each had an odd looking Goblins sitting in them, all wearing gold and red uniforms.
