When he came back the train slowed to a stop and they got up with their bags on their shoulders and walked off the train. They saw Hermione and walked over to her, she smiled at them, all the first years stood in a group as older students went off towards some carriages pulled by horses in the distance. Hermione saw where Louis was looking

‘Apparently nothing pulls them, it’s quite magical really’ She commented

‘What do you mean they have horse things pulling them, I can see them from here!’ Louis protested, Hermione looked at him like he was crazy, Louis looked confused and then looked down at his feet, his shoes were covered in mud, he scrunched up his nose, and then took Harrys hand going towards a man who was calling for first years

‘Firs’ years! Firs’ years over here!’

'good luck' Hermione called over to them, they smiled at her as she walked over to the carriages.

'My dad told me that there are these floating sportuses that if you swallow them your head swells' a girl in front of them was talking to herself, Louis and Harry exchanged a look and walked away from her towards the front of the group

'This is just, i don't know... Exciting. Yet i can't help but think something bad is ging to happen' Harry frowned

‘No more than four to a boat!’ the large man called, Louis jumped in to a boat pulling Harry In with him, and two girls got in behind them.

‘Forward’ the large man shouted out and the boats began to glide over the lake.

‘Hello, I’m Louis, that’s Harry’ he said facing the two girls, having seen Hogwarts he wasn’t too bothered about seeing it right now,

‘Hey I’m Anna, that’s Milly’ she smiled pointing to a girl who was staring at the castle, Louis smiled and turned around looking at the other people in the other boats, each one was looking at the castle in awe.

Louis lent his elbows on the front ledge of the boat waiting until they were in the castle. He looked over the edge of the boat and saw a large shadow swimming under the boat, he sat up straight and nudged Harry, he looked at him his brow creased.

‘What is it Lou?’ He asked sounding concerned

‘Look in the water’ so he did, he looked up his eyes wide.

‘oh my god, we’re going to die’ he whispered dramatically, Louis closed his eyes tightly and tried to get as far away from the edge as possible, Harry laughing slightly.

They soon arrived on the bank and Harry lifted Louis out, when he finally opened his eyes

‘We’re alive!’ he stated happily, a few people around him snickered

They walked up to some huge oak wooden doors, which opened immediately, professor McGonagall stood there and greeted them,

‘The firs’ years professor McGonagall’ the big man said

‘Thank you Hagrid, I can take them from here’ she said smiling at Louis and Harry, Louis waved at her smiling, professor McGonagall led them into a small room of to the side of the entrance hall, the entrance hall was rather beautiful.

The room they were in was quite boring, everyone was muttering about what was going to happen next.

All the students formed a line in two’s, Harry and Louis stood next to each other feeling nervous. Professor McGonagall led them all into the great hall. They walked down the passage between tables, heading towards a stool at the front of the hall. Professor McGonagall cleared her throat.
