Elle's POV
"Hey, big brothers." I walked into Jake's room and found them playing call of duty together.
Andrew looked at me from the screen and said, "Hey, Elle. What's up?"
"So here's the thing. I have a date tomorrow...." I muttered quickly. The both of them caught what I said immediately, and paused their match. I looked at them expectantly.
"With Finn?" Andy asked and I shook my head.
"No!" I walked into the room and closed the door, walking toward the bed they were both seated on. "This boy, Zach. He's really sweet."
"No." Jake shook his head at me. "We had a deal. We meet him first."
"Jakey, please. Hear me out." I frowned and he just shook his head. I turned to Andy, and gave him puppy dog eyes. The ones he couldn't resist, no matter what.
"Andrew, don't you dare fall for it." Jake glared at him and Andy sighed.
"I'm sorry, man." Andy looked at me and motioned, "Go on."
I smiled gratefully, and looked at Jakey who just stared at me blankly. My smile fell and I looked to my hands. "I want to get to know him before you scare him off. Of course you'd meet him eventually but, can I just go on this one date without you guys snitching to Dad?"
It's annoying that I have to always run who I date or who i'm friends with by my brothers. Although it is in my best interest, it's aggravating. I need to make my own decisions and learn on my own. I can't depend on them my whole entire life. Even though that's what they want, since I am the youngest... and the only girl.
Jake and Andrew looked at each other and Andy nodded his head. Jake sighed, "Fine." I smiled and pulled them into a hug.
"Thank you."

"Five, six, seven, eight. Step and step. Step and step. And turn it around. Down and up. And hit, hit, down and hit!"
"Can we stop, please?" Rachel shouted over the piano.
"You don't have to ask me every time for permission to go to the bathroom, Rachel. You can just go." Mr Schue responded, pointing to the door.
"It's not my bladder." Rachel said. I furrowed my eyebrows and put my hand on my hip. "It's the choreography."
"Okay, what's wrong with the choreography." Mr Schue asked, looking at her confused.
"We can't compete with Vocal Adrenaline with these steps." Rachel told him. Mercedes and I looked at each other, and I looked at Finn who had his arm around Quinn who just joined the Glee club. He didn't dare look my way. "You're a great vocal coach, Mr Schue, but you're not a.... a trained choreographer." As Rachel spoke, she kept looking between Mr Schue, who looked down in what seemed to be embarrassment, and Quinn, who nodded at her. "That's what we need to be the best. We need Dakota Stanley."
Rachel started going on about how he was an understudy on broadway and how he's the best show choir choreographer in the Midwest, and how Vocal Adrenaline uses him. "Just because he understudied doesn't mean he ever performed." Mr Schue told Rachel, and I could see clear as day that this was bothering him on a personal level.
I looked at Finn again, who still acted as if I don't exist, and I sighed.
"Did you ever perform, Mr Schuester?" Quinn asked with a cocky smile plastered on her face, her hands on her hips and her posture perfect. Her pretty blonde ponytail bounced perfectly as she shook her head. "After High School, did you even try?" She pressed.
