Elle's POV

"Five, six, seven, eight! Step, turn, out, in, step and change, step and change. You, you, you, you!" Mister Schue instructed and we all clapped as we danced.

"Ell- come on, guys, you're sleepwalking on me here, give me some energy. We've got sectionals in two weeks." Mister Schue said.

"Please, sectionals is gonna be a breeze." Mercedes said.

Mister Schuester sighed. "Maybe so. But if we coos through sectionals, we're gonna get killed at regionals. We have got to be on our game."

Kurt laughed and Mister Schue looked to him expectantly. "Sorry, funny YouTube." He said. "It's a grave stomping one." Mister Schue shook his head and sighed.

Zach and I looked at each other and smiled, shaking our heads. Mister Schue was noticeably annoyed with the club, and waved us off dismissively. As we all filed out, chattering amongst each other, Zach's hand snaked into mine.

"So, I was thinking..." I started, leading Zach to my locker. "How would you feel if I told you I want you to come over for dinner Saturday night to meet my dad?"

Zach grinned down at me. "I would feel really nervous about it, but mostly honored that the Elle Anderson is finally letting me meet her father." I giggled at him as I put in my locker combination and swung the door open.

"Honored?" I asked and he nodded at me, his goofy grin still painted on his face. "You're such an idiot." I smiled as I grabbed the books I needed for my homework.

"Yeah, honored. You've been my girlfriend for almost two months now and you're finally offering for me to meet the person who is most important to you." He responded. He leaning on the locker beside mine, his bag slung on one shoulder as he looked down and smiled at me, a little twinkle in his eyes. I shook my head at him.

"You're a funny guy, Zach Lee." I said as I closed my locker shut, and we began walking to the exit of the school together.

"I try, I try."

"Well... My Jake is parked outside waiting to give me a ride home. So if you want to get a head start on the third degree..."

He looked at me with furrowed eyebrows and then said. "Actually, yeah. That'd be great. Is Jake the hardass or the more chill one?"

I smirked at him and led him outside, where I saw Jake's car parked. Zach noticeably took a a gulp and walked side by side with me. The passenger seat window rolled down and Jake stared at Zach with a serious face.

"Jakey, this is my boyfriend Zach. Remember I told you met him at that football game a few weeks ago?" I asked with raised eyebrows. Jake never broke his gaze from Zach as he let out an "mhmm." I rolled my eyes at him and looked to Zach.
