•ETHAN•
My hands run through my black hair as I stare at myself in the mirror. Before I leave, I make sure I look presentable. A white hoodie with black jeans and vans is what I'm wearing to the frat party. That sounds crazy to say. I always dreamed of going to a crazy university party, like the ones you see in the movies. Since I attend a community college, there's no such thing.
I snap out of my thoughts as I continue to stare at my reflection in the mirror. Tonight, I'm not Ethan, I'm Grayson. I can't drink, can't dance with desperate sorority girls, can't beat the shit out of that Noah kid. Although, if he disrespects Hanna in any way, I may need to lay one on him. We'll see how the night goes.
"Uh, Ethan?" A low voice says from my bedroom door.
I turn around and see Grayson standing in the doorway. He's wearing his glasses, which he hasn't done in awhile. He looks extremely anxious.
"Hey." I flash him a sympathetic smile.
"Uh, just wanted to wish you luck at the frat party." He stutters.
"Thanks, don't worry it'll be fine." I reassure him while grabbing my car keys on my dresser.
"Just, make sure Hanna is all right."
I look back at him with a small smile. He really likes this girl, which hasn't happened in awhile.
Freshman year of high school he had a crush on a girl in our grade, Clara. He used to write her little love notes and put them in her locker. Long story short, she found out it was him and freaked out. She accused him of stalking her and a lot of kids at our school bullied him for it. That was the last time I saw Grayson happy because of a girl.
"I will, Noah whatever his last name is won't come near us." I smirk lightly.
"Okay, good." He exhales a deep breath.
My heart aches for my twin. I want him to come out and experience these types of things. I was hoping the new medication would have helped.
"I'll see you later." I say while shutting my bedroom light off. He nods and steps into the hallway.
"I'll just be here, reading. Text me if you need anything." He nervously replies before hurrying into his room.
I slowly nod and stare at his closed door. Fuck, I feel so guilty right now. I try to shake off the feeling by walking outside and into my car. Time to get this night over with.
During my drive over to campus, I can't help but think about Grayson. I know he was trying to do something good by using my name and picture. I'm not mad at him, I just hate that he can't be himself. It kills me seeing him so anxious all the time.
Hanna texted my brother where her dorm is, which is a large brick building that has a big flag on it. Fuck, this campus is huge. I'm shocked Grayson even attends this university.
I eventually pull into the parking lot and get out of my vehicle. Shoving my keys in the back pocket of my jeans, I walk toward the building. I know everyone is talking about me at this school, which already puts a reputation in my hands.
I head up to the floor Grayson texted me to go to. My eyes can't help but wander around this huge building. My feet stop in front of her door, and I begin knocking. I scratch the back of my head as I wait for the wood material to open.
When it does, my eyes widen. Hanna is standing in front of me wearing the hottest outfit I have ever seen. A white off the shoulder crop top, showing off her perfectly flat stomach. High waisted black jeans hug the curve of her hips, which look fucking fantastic. Her long blonde hair is styled half up and half down, which really emphasizes the features of her face. I didn't even realize how speechless I am, until I hear her laugh.
