Chapter: Day-1

Colby's POV
-Saturday

Today was the first day of the prank, for some reason I'm really happy to be spending more time with Sam. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom, to do my business.

Went I finished my business I went into Sam's room to see if he was awake, luckily he was.

"Hey, you ready for the first day."

"Yeah, can't wait to see how they react at the end." He had a cute little smile on his face.

"Let's go get some food." He nodded in agreement.

We walked down the stairs into the kitchen where everybody was, perfect to start off the plan.

"Sam, you want to go get breakfast at the coffee shop." They would surely suspect something because I never went to eat at coffee shops this early.

Corey looked up at me and then Sam, I could tell he was beginning to suspect something, I pretended I didn't notice.

"Sure Ba- Colby." Devyn looked up from her phone with a grin on her face.

"Sam what did you just say." Sam turned to look at Devyn with a confused look.

"I said 'sure Colby'." Sam was one of the best actors I knew.

"No, you were going to say babe instead of Colby. "Devyn said.

"Devyn I don't know what you're talking about, Colby let's go." Before she could say anything else we left and got inside my car.

We burst into laughter as soon as we got into my car, that went way better than I thought.

"Sam your acting skills were so good Devyn's face when you almost said, babe."

"And Corey's when you asked me to go to the coffee shop."

I started the car and we drove to get some food.

We went inside and ordered our food, I ordered a blueberry muffin with an iced coffee and Sam ordered the same thing as me. We got our food and sat down at an outdoor table.

I grabbed my phone and opened snapchat, I took a picture of Sam and captioned it breakfast date. My phone immediately got blown up with notifications, but I ignored them.

"So what are we doing today," I asked, I knew it was my idea to do this but I suck at planning.

"We could go to the mall and take Instagram Stories and snap stories. If we see any fans it would be way better." His idea was way better than mine which was going back to the house.

"Yeah, okay."I couldn't stop smiling today.

We finished eating and got inside my car. Me being the lazy person I am decided to make Sam drive (I'm such a nice friend).

Sam parked the car as far as he could just to annoy me. We went into the mall and bought some stuff we each posted 6 stories on Instagram and snapchat, my phone had never blown up with so many notifications it was crazy. We got hungry and decided to leave, to go to tender greens.

"Sam I have an idea." We were stuck in traffic so we had plenty of time to talk.

"What is it."

"I'm going to call Corey saying were stopping to get food and see if they want anything, when I'm on the phone talking I want you to say something like 'babe what did he say' or something else.

"Okay." We both hadn't stopped smiling in the morning.

I pulled out my phone and called Corey (Sam was driving not me).

"Hey Corey, me and Sam are going to tender greens just wondering if you guys wanted anything."

"Ya, just get me my usual."

"Babe what did he say." I liked when he called me babe.

"Was that sam," Corey said in an obnoxious voice.

"What are you talking about." I made sure my voice sounded confused.

"Did Sam just call you babe."I could tell he was curious.

"Dude, I don't know what you're talking about, bye." Before he could say anything else I hung up.

Devyn and Corey are were already getting suspicious this was going much better than I thought.

"Was that good?" Sam said with his eyes focused on the road.

"That was awesome, he sounded so suspicious." We arrived at tender greens and got out if the car.

We walked in and got a table for two, while we were walking to our seats I saw Brennen vlogging.

"Sam Brennen is here and he's vlogging, what do we do, "I said in a whisper.

"This is our opportunity to make it seem like something is up to follow my lead." Not going to lie but I was really nervous.

Our table was right behind Brennen's, I hope Sam's idea whatever it works. As we were right behind Brennen I felt Sam hold my hand, his hands were so soft. We made it to our table and sat across from each other, I could hear Brennen talking to his camera, he sounded pretty funny.

Sam gave my thigh a squeeze which meant Brennen was walking over.

"So what are you ordering babe." Before I could respond Brennen appeared in front of us with his camera.

"Look who I found, Sam and Colby." He said into his camera.

"Hi, Brennen," Sam said

"Hey, guys what's up," Brennen said pointing the camera towards us.

"Nothing much." I saw the waitress coming towards us.

"I gotta go see you guys around." He always acted weird around Sam.

We ordered our food and talked about tomorrow. I wondered if in Brennen's Vlog you could hear Sam say,  babe. I guess we will find out tomorrow.

We went home after dinner and went to bed, I was exhausted, who knew hiding a fake relationship was hard.

I forget where I went to sleep because as soon I as I feel on the bed I passed out.
