Colby's POV
Saturday

Ever since last night I had been on edge, I still felt like somebody was watching us. Anyway, today I was going to go see Brennen and ask him why he was mad when Sam held my hand. Sam was going to hang out with Katrina since he hasn't hung out with her for about a week.

I texted Brennen when we were still at the factory, that I was coming over. I didn't want to leave Sam, I felt like something was going to happen.

I arrived at Brennen's apartment and parked my car. I hadn't been there in a while that it felt weird. I knocked on the door, not even 2 seconds later he opened the door.

"Hey bro, what's up with you, we haven't hung out in a while." He said with a fake smile.

"Ya I know, but I need to ask you something," I said sitting down on his couch.

"Okay, what is it?"

"Why did you get so mad when I and Sam were holding hands?" His fake smile dropped and I saw anger in his eyes.

"Didn't you say, when we were in the park, that you guys weren't holding hands." He said with a smirk. Shit, so much happened on that day, that I forgot what I said.

"Well I lied, but you didn't answer my question."

"I didn't get mad." That was the fattest lie I've heard in my life.

"Then explain why you dragged me away from Sam, you were in my face about it." I balled my fists in anger.

"Because you don't belong with him." He spat out.

"What?"

"You belong with, me not him. He's pathetic. I don't see why you would want him over me."

"I'm leaving."

I got up from the couch and started walking towards the door before I could open the door, Brennen grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer to him. I tried to take his hand off my wrist, but his grip was to tight. Our faces were inches apart from each other. He leaned in closer and started kissing me. I pushed him back and tried to open the door, but it was locked. Brennen grabbed my waist and pulled me even closer to him than before. I grabbed my keys and dragged them across his arm. He let go of my arm to hold his bleeding arm, I unlocked the door and drove home as fast I could.

Sam's POV
(This is what Sam was doing when Colby went to Brennen's place.)

I was on the highway driving to tender greens. I and Kat had agreed to meet there to talk. I always knew I was gay, my parents always told me that being gay was wrong, I hid it from them by dating Kat. I know it was wrong for me to use her like that, but I didn't want to disappoint my parents.

I pulled into the tender greens parking lot and parked my car, I went inside and got a table for 2, Kat wasn't here yet, so I texted her.

Katrina:

Sam- where are you?

Katrina- parking my car

I've never broken up with anyone, I was nervous, but I wanted to be with Colby. I saw Kat enter and walk over to our table.

"Hey." She said sitting down across from me.

"We need to talk."

"We should break up." She said with sadness in her voice.

"Why?" I wanted to break up with her, not the other way around.

"I'm seeing someone else." Was she cheating on me the whole time we were dating?

"Do I know who he is," I asked with curiosity in my voice.

"Ya, I should get going." She turned around and left without another word.

I decided to get me and Colby some food to go, he should be back home by now. I wonder how it went with Brennen.

I got the food and went back to the house, all the roommates except Devyn had gone on a trip to Arizona, for two weeks.

"Colby I brought you food." I heard him run down the stairs into the kitchen, he looked upset.

"Colby are you okay, did something happen at Brennen's."

"Brennen kissed me and said I belonged with him." I've never felt so much hatred towards somebody, then right now.

"W-what did you do."

"I cut him with my keys, he was bleeding pretty bad." I let out a sigh of relief.

"How'd it go with Katrina." He asked with food in his mouth.

"She broke up with me and is seeing someone else, apparently we know the person."

"Are you okay," he said concerned

"Yeah."

We watched movies for the rest of the night, I had this weird feeling that something was going to happen.

Unknown POV

"The plan is going better than we thought," I said looking through the window of their house.

"Great, how many more days until they receive the letter."

"4 more days." I heard the person from the other line chuckle.

"I'll see you when I get home." I hung up the phone and started taking pictures of them.
