Lloyd had already gone awhile without eating. In return for that, he felt all his energy depleting with each step forward.

He didn't pack much. He wasn't thinking about how long this journey would take. Just how long he wanted it to take. The map had no color detail and so because of that, there was no way to tell how long this spring would last. And what came after that?

Lloyd pulled front his pack and dug through it. He remembered sticking some fruit in there and other random things he figured he could get by on.

He found an apple and pulled it out, wiping it down on his side and then biting into it.

He felt better already. It was nice out and there was a slight breeze that rustled his hair around his scalp and into his face.

He looked back down at the map he was carrying in his other hand. There was a three way path coming up.

Which one do I take?

He sighed and continued walking. He noticed the trees kept changing type every few he'd pass.

He walked up to one and ran his hand along the bark patterns. He noticed a small flap of bark that wouldn't come off, but was able to be pushed into the tree some.

Lloyd messed around with that for a tiny bit until suddenly, he saw something appear out of nowhere.
