The cat landed on its side but got up quickly. It hissed, showing its teeth. Lloyd pulled him closer. He didn't want him to get hurt again.

He grabbed the sword before the bad guy did. He stood up again with it, holding it threateningly towards him.

The man pretended to be scared. "Oh no, green bean is going to kill me!"

"It doesn't have to be this way." Lloyd knit his eyebrows.

"You're going to walk away? You don't want revenge against the group of vigilantes who killed your boyfriend?"

"Killing you won't bring him back..."

"Very true...But does anger not flow through your veins?"

"I'm trying to ignore it."

"I want to see you fight." The guy smirked.

"I don't want to fight you."

"What if we told you this was all a trick in hopes to capture you. Does that make your blood boil?" He was smirking.

"What?..." Lloyd questioned.

"We sensed you coming as soon as your started!" The man spat. "This body? It wasn't really who you were looking for! We moved him long ago. That was just a decoy so we could get ahold of you."

"You mean..."

"He isn't really dead?" He finished for Lloyd.

"Yes."

"I never said that. Only that that body is a fake."

"Why are you telling me this?" Lloyd asked.

"To mess with your head. Confuse you. Give you hope and take it away...I like screwing with people."

"Please just give him back to me..."

"You want to see his real dead body?"

"You didn't..."

"Face it. He's dead." He had a crazed look. "The king is dead...!"

"Stop!" Lloyd cried.

"Get out. Leave. Go home. I don't want to kill you. But I won't hesitate to if the time comes." The man seemed to gain a little mercy for Lloyd.

"I can't go home empty handed...What did you do to him?"

"Go."

"What did you do?"

"Go!"

Lloyd couldn't bring himself to leave. But he didn't have to. He'd suspected it already. He knew this cat was a little out of the ordinary.

And it proved right. The cats pupils were slit and a purple glow started to emit from his body.

"What are you doing?" Lloyd asked.

The glow got brighter and brighter until it was so bright, no one could see. And then just like that. Lloyd found himself back at home.
