While Lloyd could sense that this was where Morro was. He didn't know the area. He didn't know the location. He could be looking for days and find nothing.

He still had the cat of course but he wouldn't be much of a help at this point. Even if it were a dog that could sniff Morro out; Lloyd didn't bring anything that had his scent.

Lloyd knew that worrying about all this wouldn't find him. He had to start somewhere. He had to look around before giving up assuming all is lost. Because it wasn't. Not yet.

So he went on. He didn't look as if he were looking for a dead body. He refused to think that was what he was doing. Morro couldn't be dead. Rather than that, he searched for any buildings or caves or anywhere he could be alive.

But there wasn't much of that. Swamp. Brush. Trees. Acid. Mud. There weren't many big locations a person could be. Not for awhile.

After walking for awhile in a forwards direction, it did start to get rockier. The land started going upwards as well. That meant there most certainly could be a cave or something built into the sides.

"Hmm..." Lloyd trailed off.

The cat meowed.

"I think so too." Lloyd laughed. "Total maze here."

The cat meowed again and jumped out of Lloyd's arms. It started running, expecting Lloyd to follow, which he did. The cat was running to the right, where there was more rock and steeper land.

"What's over here?" Lloyd asked it.

The cat continued to run, not looking back or waiting for Lloyd. But Lloyd trusted its gut and thought it would be beneficial to him if he followed. There had to be something there.

Somehow he felt like the cat just...Knew. Cats had senses like that. Lloyd came to an abrupt stop when he saw the cat had stopped in front of an area with rocks all piled on top of each other.

"What did you find?" Lloyd questioned. They were just rocks. What was the point of this? Why did it lead him here?

The cat pawed at one of the rocks.

"I don't understand." Lloyd said.

The cat nudged it, causing the rock to tumble and fall down. Then it hit Lloyd. Those rocks weren't supposed to be there. They were covering something up.

So Lloyd got closer and started pulling the rocks away. One by one they all started coming down, creating an opening. Sure enough, he had found a cave. Exactly what he was hoping he would find.

He made a hole just big enough for him to get through. Also so enough light came in. Then he stepped through the space and went into the cave.

It seemed mostly empty. Rocks. Spiderwebs. Normal cave things. Nothing out of the ordinary. Then he saw the cat sniffing around.

The cat was going deeper into the cave, Lloyd on his trail. Then it went over to the wall. There was a lot of brush and leaves and sticks. All in a pile.

It started pawing it all away, just enough to see a hand, uncovered now. Lloyd's heart sank. The delicate fingers now lying flat on the ground, dirt underneath the nails and caked on the fingers. Pale and cold.

Through all that, he knew the features. He knew whose hand that was. It was Morro's. All thanks to the cat. He found him.
