Chapter 10

THIRDY'S POV

"Uy Thirdy! Okay ka lang ba? Bakit ka nagmumura ng ganyan ha?" Manong exclaimed as I barged in the room with evident stress in my face and dropped all my stuff on the floor. 

Most of the time when I come home Manong would be downstairs or still outside hence, the reason why I got stunned when he started getting mad at me as I walked in the room.

"Sorry. Sorry", I tried to apologize as many times to him but I knew my brother would not simply accept it.

"May nangyari ba sa training? sa school? Ano ba? I never saw you like this."

I was right, he would be still curious as to why. 

It was the night after the party in Mall of Asia. I had just came from a rough day in school and training. 

I went straight home from Moro, not talking to any of my teammates. I needed to get home - and fast. 

We had a histo quiz today which I am 99% I sure failed in since, today, my head was not in it - at all. 

During training, I was not on my best shape either. I kept missing my shots, forgetting the plays, not even doing defense. I was just a train wreck, to say the least.

"Nothing, Manong. Nothing.", I replied back to him to stop this conversation once and for all.

"Thirdy! Hindi lang iyan wala. Parang nakapatay ka ng tao or - "

I interrupted my brother and just burst out in anger, "I KISSED SOMEONE OKAY!". 

I just screamed in front of Kuya Kief. Oh no, I am so dead.

It finally came out. My anger which was building up throughout the day came out - to my older brother. Oops.

The elder just sat there not knowing what to do or say.

"What is happening here?", someone had just gone in the room. 

It was Dani. Due to the decibel count of what I had just said, it had reached her ears despite her, being on the opposite end of the hallway.

Me and Manong just looked at Dani, trying to tell her to get off the conversation.

"Dani, go back to your room.",Kiefer said to Dani. 

But Dani, the stubborn girl she is, did not do so.

"No, I heard what Kuya Thirdy said. Mind you, I am still his sister and not just that, Jules is my teammate so, in between the two of us, I have the right to know, Manong.", Dani replied.

"Iba ito, Dani. Okay?  Kaya just go to your room na. Mag-usap kayo mamaya." Manong requested in a much calmer demeanor to the younger one.

I had finally calmed down after I just got mad out of nowhere. I was still standing, in between, my two siblings who were arguing about.

"Manong, okay lang. Dani will stay here.", I looked back to say to my brother while, at the corner of my eye, I could see Dani celebrating and saying a quiet yes. 

It was silent for a while until I decided to speak up.

"Sorry, Manong. For screaming in your face.", I apologized as the youngest Ravena who was behind me started to snicker. 

I got my stuff which I dropped on the floor and looked at Dani trying to stop her from whatever she was doing at the both of us.

I sat on my bed and started to speak about why I was acting the way I was, "I cheated on my girlfriend."
