Chapter 9

JHO'S POV

"Maddie, nakita niyo ba si Bea? Hindi ko siya makita or matext man lang.", I said as I placed down my food on the cafeteria table. 

Nasa Gonzaga Hall kami ngayon naglulunch. We don't usually have lunch together as a team since, we see each other anyway in the morning and night during training but, today was an exception.

"Hindi, bakit mo ba siya hinahanap?",  Jamie exclaimed while slicing her fried chicken that she was eating.

"Wow parang ngayon lang naglunch tayong nagkakasama." Kim who had just arrived said. 

"Oo nga no, we should do this more often." 

Ponggay and her sister Therese were also eating with us at the moment. Ponggay replied to Dani, "It is not like we don't see each other every day morning and night, Dani girl."

"Where is Bea?", I stated once more.

"Bakit mo ba siya hinahanap? She has a lot of friends here, hindi lang tayo. Naandito lang siya Jho.", Therese replied back to me. 

"Wow.Ang harsh yon hah.", Ria added. 

"It is not like hindi siya totoo.",  the elder argued.

"We don't even have lunch together then we are already arguing about useless things." 

The seniors of the team which includes me, Bea, Kat, and Maddie would usually restrain the group at times like these but, the thing is I started the argument so I really can't do anything about it. 

"Tinanong ko lang saan si Bea, ganun na reaction niyo? Wow, ang galing.", I said back. 

"Why are you so worried ba about Bea? Parang ngayon lang you kept looking for her."

"Basta."

"Edi we won't tell you where she is.", Dani said while giving me a smile. 

"Excuse you, I need to know where Bea is, best friend ko siya."

"Bakit nga?"

"Kasi-"

"Because what ate Jho?", Bettina asked as she looked at me with a side eye.

"She has been ignoring for the past few days. Oo, she hugged me yesterday and said a few things but other than that, nothing. I just have a feeling may galit siya or something, hindi ko alam. Last few days ko na ito sa Ateneo, I don't want to leave with any regrets kaya I need to talk to her, as soon as possible. Masakit na nga talo tayo, but what hurts more is to be ignored by your best friend with no apparent reason."

Ang haba noon ah. Wow. Well, I could trust my teammates naman eh.

As I said this, everyone else was eating but, still paying attention to what I said. I could see some of the girls whispering to each other, with me, not knowing what they were talking about what so ever.

Why are they whispering? I thought to myself. 

Dani had finally broken the silence and awkwardness that surrounded the cafeteria table, "Finally na gets mo na Ate Jho, very good."

"Huh?", I looked at them since I was very very confused by everything that was going on around me.

"Dani, not here.", Maddie told off the younger Ravena.

"Sabihin niyo lang sa akin kung nasaan si Bea, please.", I pleaded on and on to my teammates.

"Hindi siya pumasok. She is in her house. Thirdy brought her home last night.", Dani stated.
