Chapter 4

Mitch

I couldn't believe it. Emily, cursed by Herobrine before she could control her magic? That was nuts. I didn't think that was the complete answer. I groggly woke up from a deep sleep about Jerome chasing me around a Hunger Games map with a raw fish.

As I entered the dining hall, I noticed we weren't split into groups. Everyone was at one table, Emily's. Ant was questioning her about her pvp skills.

"Well, Ant, to answer your question, a witch can't rely on their powers only. Some times you have to be a witch and a knight to win your battles. I've been practicing sword play since I was 4, and archery since I was 10." Ant looked impressed. I was too. I heard a bell go off, right when I noticed Bash and Jordan didn't come down. Sleeping in? Not Jordan. I ran over to Emily and shook her shoulder. She looked at me.

"Em, Bash and Jordan aren't here. This is bad. Jordan doesn't sleep in, at all." He at least knew that of his past. Bash could sleep in, but Jordan? That was a no no. Emily stood up abruptly.

"Mitch just told me that Bash and Jordan are missing. Group 1, go to Bash's room. Group 3, go to Jordan's room. Groups 4 and 5, go to the d and c wings, look everywhere. Come on, Group 2 lets go find the murderer, if there is one!" Everyone grouped up and went out of the dining hall in search of Bash and Jordan. Ty went with Chim, since their groups were dead or missing.

(this is switching between the groups)

Paul

Bodil, Simon, and I jogged up to the stairs to the balcony. That's where Jordan's room was. As we walked in front of his door, it was locked. Simon somehow learned how to pick locks in 10 minutes and we were in.

What we saw horrified us. Jordan was dead, a knife right by him. It had a little blood on it. Jordan was stabbed in the stomach, by something, we didn't know. Bash was in here as well, and cold dead. Jordan had a little water hole, and someone drowned Bash. There was blood on the sheets. Someone had used it for wiping off their shirt.

Bodil walked up to Bash, looking at him. He pulled him out to look at his face. Bash was panicking when he died. There was a large dent in the side of his head. Judging by the size of the water hole, he probably knocked himself out panicking and was killed.

Adam

Our group went to Bash's room, but he wasn't there. The door was unlocked. We went over to Jordan's room. Group 3 stood there, shocked. They went in. We followed.

I can't describe what was in there. It was horrifying. Who would kill both Bash and Jordan, in the same room too? I noticed a knife next to Jordan. The smart boy nicked the killer, but he died before he could really defend himself. Bash probably didn't do anything. I heard Emily, Mitch and Jerome talking in the dining room. I looked over the balcony.

"You said you wanted to find the killer, well, here's the evidence!" I shouted, motioning for them to come up. Emily jumped on the table and jumped over to the floor of the balcony, pushing herself over. Mitch and Jerome followed Emily. (powermoves, man. powermoves.) Emily stood there frowning. She didn't move anything, just took the sight in. She looked at the knife in intrest.

"It looks like Jordan slashed his killer!" She said. "That's what I thought. No one here would really be able to take on a melon and Jordan, at the same time too." She nodded. "Only someone with crazy pvp skills could do this. There are a lot of suspects. One, Ant. He is a pvp master, one with the blade. He could have very well done this. Two, Mitch. He's almost as good as Ant, but better with a bow sometimes. And three, Simon. I know, Simon, you aren't good at Pvp, but I have to say, your rage can do some damage." Simon looked furious, if looks would kill, they would.

I nodded. "Let's get everyone downstairs to discuss." Everyone went back to the dining hall. Groups 4 and 5 were already there. Emily swung over the barrier with ease, jumping to the table. Bodil was just as smooth with parkour. Everyone took their seats. Emily stood on the table. Herobrine watched on the balcony.

"As you might know, Jordan and Bash are dead. Bash was drowned, and Jordan was stabbed in the stomach by a iron sword. I know that because there were flakes of iron on the floor, meaning the blade was almost depleted. Luckly, Jordan defended himself with a knife, and slashed at the killer. However, Jordan was dispatched quickly, and the killer drowned Basher just as fast. Did Group 4 or 5 find anything?"

Chim held up a iron sword. "Doeeeeees this almost dead iron sword count? And this rag here count too?" Ty held up a bloody rag. Emily looked shocked. "YES!" She said. "Can I see the rag?" Ty handed her the rag. She looked at it. A clear blood line, about 4 inches wide.

"Who wasn't here this morning?" I said. PaulJR replyed "Ant, Bash, Jordan, and Mitch, who slept in late. He's like that sometimes." Emily frowned.

Emily

I picked out Mitch and Ant, looking shocked. "Ant, Mitch, could you come up here please?" I asked, in my sweetest voice possible. "Chim, where was the sword?" "Behind a painting." He replyed quickly. "Which room?" "The living room over there in the c wing, next to Ant's room." I nodded a thanks.

(Chim's flashback)

I walked into the living room, watching as Paul sat on one of the comfy leather couches, watching the fire slowly die down. The fire died. Simon was talking to Paul about something. Ant was leaning on a old painting casually. I looked at Ant. He nodded. I walked in and sat down on one of the other comfy leather seats.

"So, Paul, have you seen our other melon friend lately? He hasn't been here to cheer us up since the first duel." I asked Paul. He thought about it. I turned back to stretch my back a little. I saw Ant frowning, tensed.

"No, I haven't seen our melon man. Not you Simon." Paul assured. I turned to Ant. "Are you in here all of the time, Ant?" I asked. Ant nodded. "I love the old paintings. It helps me remember my past a little more. It's nice, plus the fire is hot all the time, expecially like last night, where it was cold. I sat in here and watched the fire go down, warm. It was a good night last night." He said, emotionless.

Chim

I found evidence! "Guys, I got somethin' here." I said. Emily sighed in relief. "Great, Chim was is it?" I smiled. "Well, when I went upstairs to the living room, I saw Paul, Simon, and Ant. Paul was talking to Simon. And Ant was leaning on a painting. Some thing thin could fit behind the painting. A sword, or tool of some sort could fit. It was like he was trying hard to be casual, but hid something at the same time. He would have plenty of time to go to his room and kill time. He probably found the sword in the closet or something, right Ant?" Chim rattled on.

Ant growled. "You still think it's me, huh? The painting is too small. Nothing put a small peice of paper could fit in it. I like that painting. Blame someone else. But, I'm not guilty. If you think I am, get it out of your head." Ant said, looking at all of the youtubers fierce. "Just because I'm good at Pvp doesn't mean that the blame should be put on me." Mitch nodded. "Just because we are good at pvp doesn't mean that we are the one to blame already. Try something else." He said. Everyone stopped, sad. Mitch and Ant were still suspects. They were both saying they didn't do it. But, who did?
