Chapter 5

Mitch

I swear if they accuse me again, well, I am not guilty. I wouldn't kill Jordan or Bash. Even though I have no recollection of my past, well, I knew that Jordan and Bash were both good guys. I wish they were still here.

"I'm going to go check the painting. I'll be back." Emily nodded in agreement. I headed up to the c wing, quietly opening the door to the living room. Everything was silent. I looked at the painting. It was wide, almost 3 feet. I lifted it up with ease. There was a slot, with a sword holder inside. And in the sword holder was flecks of iron. Only Ant could have done this. Only Ant would have known.

I sprinted back to the dining hall, footsteps echoing across the barren c wing hall. I found the culprit! Ant was it, I knew it. I entered the dining hall. Chim saw me come in and motioned for me to come over.

"Watcha find?" He asked. I started slowly. "It was Ant. Sorry, man, but

only you would have known that there is a sword slot behind that painting." I said, panting. Ant frowned.

"Ant, could you please show us if you have any injuries?" Bodil said, looking sad. Ant tensed.

"FINE!" He yelled. He pulled up his sleeve in anger, showing a thin shallow cut on his

right arm. "I DID It, OKAY? YOU HAPPY?" Everyone looked at him fearfully. Adam gasped.

"But Aaaaant? Why?" Ant looked over at Adam. "Because Adam, it's kill or be killed. I didn't think you guys would be that smart, but I guess we have some detectives here that are better than I thought!" Ant exclaimed. Emily sighed.

Herobrine suddenly appeared, yet again. "So, who wants to say what happened?" Herobrine looked around. Surprisingly, Chim rose his hand up. Herobrine pointed at Chim. "Chim volunters. Perfect!"

Chim stood up, clearing his throat. "The killer found an iron sword in a chest. Realizing it was his perfect opportunity to get out of the mansion, he went up to Jordan's room, hoping to catch Jordan alone. But, the killer saw that both Jordan and Bash were there. The killer fought with Jordan, Jordan had landed a cut on the attacker before the killer dispatched him easily. Using Jordan's water hole, he knocked Bash unconious and drowned him in the water hole. The killer left, thinking his rusted iron sword was dead. He cleaned up his cut with a rag and left it in the living room. When it was the morn, he casually leaned on the painting the sword was under, trying not to be suspicous. The killer here," Chim sighed and pointed shakily to Ant. "Is Ant." Ant nodded.

"Now it's time for me to die, eh?" Ant said loudly as he walked toward the arena.

Ant's punishment went like this. He had a wooden sword. Blindness overtook Ant as waves of zombies pushed out of the arena's double doors. Ant fought as hard as he could. He realize that after a while, his arm was drooping lower and lower. He chucked his sword at the wall and held his hands out, his head held high. He fell under the waves of zombies and died.

Emily(so short sorry >.

Ant. Oh Ant. Just trying to get out, like the rest of us. I started crying, my sobs filling up the empty silence. Everyone was shocked. Almost half of the groups eyes went wide. I was so weak, I couldn't even handle death.

I ran out of the room, crying.

Mitch

Emily ran out of the room, crying. I was still shocked, but I would not cry. I looked over to Paul. He stood up, glaring, at ran out of the room to Emily. No one followed. Paul came back in with Emily. He had his arm over her shoulder. Emily's eyes were puffy. He was whispering in her ear as he led her over to an empty table.
