Chapter 7

Emily POV

Herobrine sighed, his eyes gleaming. I looked at him in absolute fury. But I said nothing. There was nothing to say. I looked away, undoing my hair out of the crunchy. It fell down my back, tickling my neck. I readjusted my hair, pulling my bangs this way and pulling my hair that way. Herobrine smiled.

"So, Emily, what's such the honor to show me your hair down?" He asked in a sweet old grandmother voice. I laughed. "How did you end up, well, here?" I asked, sorting through all of my thoughts.

"Well, after the battle, I built a mansion in the swamp. I moved it to the Nether later, but that was because Notch laid siege on it. And, since he hates the Nether, I moved there! It's much brighter than the swamp, and at least it doesn't rain. It is very hot though, I have to say." He said casually. I smiled.

"So, are you stuck here, or do you choose not to leave?" I turned my head around, hearing rustles behind us. Herobrine frowned. "Well, Notch kept me here. He has the key to the front doors. It's locked on the outside." We heard a rumbling noise near the entrance. Herobrine stood up abruptly, his whole being radiating with darkness. A dark cloud surrounded him. He ran toward the entrance, me following close behind.

Mitch

I was having a calm lunch when the front doors rattled. I heard a lot of shuffling near the door. It rattled again. I saw Herobrine come out of one the hallways, scittering to a stop. Emily was close behind, panting. She held her wand in hand. I drew my sword from underneath the table.

"Emily, catch!" I yelled, throwing Chim's potion bag towards her. Jerome got up, right next to me, his claws extended. His chocolate brown eyes met mine, and he smiled. We were going to fight together.

Emily ruffled through the bag, looking for some potion. Finally pulling out a green one. Poison, my mind confirmed. She ran over to me. "Do you know what's going on? Herobrine is pretty freaked." I shrugged. A whoosh went through the hall. Vechs appeared, pulling his goggles up. He looked back. More people were coming. Paul, Simon, Bodil, and Adam came. They were shocked.

"Herobrine? Are you there?" A voice yelled through the door. Herobrine tensed. He obviously didn't like hearing the voice.

"GET OUT OF HERE NOTCH! THIS IS MY TERRITORY!" He yelled, fire coming to his hands. Emily's wand switched colors, from red to purple. She saw me staring at it. "Defensive spell. So that I can teleport away if I need to." I nodded, understanding her logic. She handed me a regen potion. "Take it. If we need to fight, you'll need it." I smiled, nodding a thanks as I shoved the pink potion in my pocket.

The door creaked open. I expected it to blast open. (LOL) A figure stood in the doorway. He was bald, and had a black beard. His eyes observed the scene. A blue cape with a pickaxe on it fluttered behind him. He had a brown shirt on. On his back was a diamond sword. He pulled in out, holding it in his hand. Herobrine was tensed. I guessed he didn't like his brother. Behind Notch was a whole army of players. They held bows, iron swords, etc. They also had different armor types on. Most of them were leather. Some were chain, fewer were iron, and even fewer were diamond. I guessed that the ones in diamond were generals.

Notch smiled. Herobrine's eyes glowed whiter. Notch stepped into the hallway. Emily flicked her wand, and the door shut closed. The door closed with a CLANG. All was silent for a minute. Notch and Herobrine were having a staring contest.
