Chapter 6
Flashback: Herobrine's POV
Slowly, block by block, my world was made. I was made of pixels, my blue eyes shining with glee. It was a once in a lifetime experience, and I was here. I looked over to my brother, Notch, who was smiling. He was creating the world, imagining everything piece by piece. He had to be completely focused. I couldn't distract him.
The world was made. Notch smiled at me, grinning widely like a child. I smiled back. He ran and hugged me. He whispered, "Come on, lets go start playing around!" Notch ran off. I followed. We started building, letting others come in the game. We got 3 diamonds, making a diamond pick and going to the nether.
Notch and I were exploring a nether fortress. It was dark. I held a torch out, squinting. I looked below us. Hell fire. Hell fire is a very horrible fire that cannot be extingushed. No one had stepped into it and came out alive. I gulped. We continued on, passing zombie pigmen. I got lost. As I proceeded down the hall, I saw a figure. He was sitting on a chair. He looked like me, with the same clothes, same hair, but different eyes. White eyes. I gulped yet again. He was smiling at me.
"Hello, friend. Or should I say myself?" He chuckled. I was shocked. That was me?! "I'm sure you're shocked. I am a god in the future. Time travel is easy for me. I wouldn't watch your step. You aren't going to regret it, trust me. Notch is weak. In the future, he cowers when I'm near him. It is pathetic. Trust me, you want to be like me in the future. You will be powerful. More than my silly little brother ever was!" The man said.
I stared, fighting my fears to run. If this man was right, well, I would want that! "What do you call yourself?" I whispered. He laughed. "Quiet one, aren't you? If you want to know, I am Herobrine." I nodded and turned around. Notch was standing there, mouth wide and pointing at Herobrine. "I..I..didn't create you." Herobrine tensed at seeing Notch. "You did actually." He murmured, looking to a zombie pigman and sending it away. I saw Herobrine lean forward, a black cloud growing around him and then everything was black.
I was teleported next to my brother. He was shocked. He looked angry. "Why would you talk to that man!" He said, shoving me on the edge of the nether fortress. "Look, Notch, I didn't mean to.....I just started talking to him, I'm sorry!" Notch shoved me again. "If you talk to anyone other than me, you die! Your a god like creature, not a player!" Notch growled, shoving me off the nether fortress. I twisted, seeing Hell fire as my eyes seared and I looked up, seeing Herobrine one last time behind a shocked Notch. He smiled, nodding. I heard his deep voice in my head before I slipped into the dark, saying, "It is done. You are me now."
I woke up in a hospital bed. My eyes hurt. Everything hurt. There was no one in the room. I got up, pain shooting up my leg. I limped over to a mirror. I saw myself, taking a step back. My hair, my clothes, everything was the same. Except for my eyes. I was Herobrine. I felt anger at my brother when he came into the room. Seeing me out of my bed, he said, "Brother, why are you out of bed? I'm sure that's unsafe." I growled, snarling. "Said the one that shoved me into Hell fire! Herobrine was right. He was. I knew it." Notch looked confused. "Brother, turn around. I want to see you face to face." He murmured.
"FINE!" I said as I whipped around, angry. Notch looked shocked. He muttered "It cannot be. You are that man! At the fortress." I nodded, rage filling my soul black. I wanted to kill Notch for his mistakes. I remembered Herobrine's words. "Trust me, you want to be like me in the future. You will be powerful. More than my silly little brother ever was!"
I pinned him onto the wall, power surging through my soul. "LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID, BROTHER! YOU'VE CURSED MINECRAFTIA! I CANNOT WAIT TO KILL YOU!" Notch winced. He slung a red necklace onto my neck and teleported away. I screamed. The necklace was stuck to my neck. I couldn't get it off. It burned. But I would make Notch burn even more.
I teleported to a cave. Time to see my powers in work. I cleared away a space, making devices to spawn mobs to kill the players, and my best work, the EnderDragon. I spent years working. I made the night. I thrived in the night. The players that were killed became the first zombies and the first skeletons, commanded by me. War broke out. Fear rang out in the villages. My brother hid in his castle, scared. I inflitrated his castle, sneaking in as a cloaked figure, fighting my way through gaurds. He stayed put, his sword in his hand, unsure of who his attacker was.
We fought, fear was in his eyes. Soon, I held him in a headlock on the ground, laughing. I was standing up. He kicked my stomach, making me double over, and flipped my hood off. I saw Notch confused in my perifials. I stood up, glaring at him. "You have not won, brother." I growled, sheathing my sword on my back. Notch was shocked.
"Brother, please. Don't leave." He whispered. Quick as light, I pulled out a dagger from my boot and held it at his neck. I whispered, "You can ditch all thoughts of me being your brother. You were alone since that day in the nether!" I pulled the dagger away, sheathing it in my boot, and walking out of the double doors, pulling my hood up and looking back. Notch's face had fallen. His sword was on the ground. Red marks covered his neck. His hair was ruffled up. He looked to me one more time. I flipped my hood back, walking back towards Notch.
He looked hopeful as I walked toward him. "Take this battle as a reminder. I do not pity the weak, I do not give mercy. This is your last chance. Step down from the throne and you will be rewarded. If you don't," I paused, "All hell will break loose." Notch frowned, tensing. "I will never give up my throne. It is mine to rule, not yours." Snarling, I leaved. Before I ran out, I yelled, "GOOD LUCK! YOU'LL NEED IT!" I teleported to my cave, sitting down in my obsidian throne. What was I going to do about him?
