AURA [ JACK x ZACH ]

thirty-nine

jack walked to the cn tower hurriedly, hoping to arrive there before the sun went down. his shoes clung onto the wet ground like a sponge absorbing water; it was slightly raining outside.

jack arrived at the tower, cleaning his glasses and looking around for zach. he walked around the tower, "zach?" he called out.

the reply was the sound of heavy rain colliding with the ground and cars speeding on the highway.

he thought he was stupid for thinking he'd be there, in the rain and walking to the cn tower. jack sighed and hugged his jacket tighter to himself, pushing up his glasses and putting his hood on.

"zach?" he called out once again. no reply.

and there never was one.

it took five minutes for the rain to get to jack, him not knowing if it was the rain or small tears cascading down his cheeks. he rubbed his eyes, before walking back to his apartment.

and he almost was unable to walk the way back, the rain pressure making his glasses more blurry than his actual vision.

he should've just worn contacts.

just remember that it took jack some convincing from zach to wear his glasses because he hated them, and he's now regretting it
