Ritsu let go and everything became colder like the sudden wave of reality that hit you years ago. His presence wasn't enough for you, you wanted the hug to be longer. The only thing you felt was your tear strains. You sighed. You wanted to stay with him longer, but the sky was turning pinkish, signalling the sun will set soon, meaning you both have to part your ways. He stood up, followed by you standing up too after him.

There was awkward silence between you two for a few seconds that passed slower and slower. He spoke up.

"I didn't know..." Ritsu scratched the side of his head. It became even more awkward. You looked down. Your mind kept swirling up with thoughts. You opened your mouth to say something, but nothing came out.

Ritsu reached for your hand and grabbed it. You looked at him in confusion.

"Do you want me to walk you home?"

You nodded.

A genuine smile could be seen on your face as you two walked together. The silence between you wasn't awkward like it was a few moments ago.

You finally reached your house.

"Do you want to come in?"

"Oh.. i can't, i have to help nii-san, heh.." He scratched his neck while saying that. You shrugged it off and bid your goodbyes.

You flopped on the couch with the TV remote in your hand, surfing through the tons and tons of boring TV channels. You decided to watch some cartoons, since there was one going on at that time. The parrot was now completely fine with your presence, so he was flying around the room and tearing old magazines you had laying around.

Something landed on your head, as sharp little nails were slightly dug in your scalp. You winced slightly to the sudden pain. You realized, it was the parrot, which made you crack up a smile. But you couldn't really stand him playing with your H/C hair, so you raised your hand to scare the bird away. He did fly away, which made you sigh in relief as your scalp was finally free from the short stress.

You somehow got reminded that you have homework by the sudden squeaks coming off from the cockatiel. You stood up and groaned. Why can't they juat give you a free day for once? Saturday and Sunday weren't enough. You got your bag and went upstairs.

You settled on the chair in front of your desk and did the homework that you had for tomorrow. Luckily for you, you left your phone downstairs. That helped you concentrate, since that girl mostly messages you around this time.

You finally finished your homework. You quickly went downstairs to get the phone, realizing you haven't turned off the TV so you went and did that. You noticed you had unread messages, but you ignored them and looked at the time. Midnight was about to pass and waking up tomorrow was gonna be a struggle, so you tried to be quick as possible.

Setting up the annoying alarm, you rushed to your room. Going upstairs was a big deal since you almost fell. You entered in your room and changed in your pajamas, flopping on your bed as you became one with it.

6:30 A.M.

The alarm went off as you groggily stood up, your vision blurred for solid minutes. You changed into your uniform and started stumbling to the bathroom to wash your teeth.

You combed your hair and it was already time for you to head off. You put the subjects' books and some rice for lunch in a bento box in your backpack. Slipping on some random pair of F/C shoes you rushed out and closed the door afterwards.

You almost arrived late for class. Poor you, ran the whole way to school, lets hope it's worth it. You entered and saw that everyone was there. You quickly walked to your seat and placed the bag on the floor as you took out the books needed for this class.

Time went by and it's already lunch break. You stayed in the classroom and ate the rice you had prepared for today. There was nobody else in the classroom, you did feel an unfamiliar presence nearby. Cautiously, you looked around the room, observing every single detail. It might be just your mind playing tricks on you once again, or it was actually your intuition. You shrugged it off and finished your lunch.

Oddly enough, nobody came. Even after the break was supposed to be over.

Why?

You didn't know.
