Once a door closes, a new one opens || Ritsu x reader fan fiction {WIP}

Chapter 5

Y/N's POV

     I sighed, as i grabbed my phone to read what cockatiels need and how to befriend them. To my luck they are easy to take care of. All you need is a cage, a place for it to drink water and eat, and something under the cage so there wont be any droppings on the table.
     
     It sounds easy, but it isn't that easy actually. The cages aren't cheap at all and the bird is around 3000 yen. I knew i had to make that money somehow. I could be a babysitter or clean cars. Of course i'd pick the babysitter. Buuuut... it wasn't that easy, since most of the kids were little demons jumping around and making mess all over the place. Somehow i managed to make it through it. After a couple weeks of work i finally had the needed yen. I even collected yen for the cage and the places for it to eat and drink. (i forgot the names since i'm not english ^^')
     One rainy night i heard a knock on my house. Earlier the same day i got the needed money, said my goodbyes to the parents and headed home. I was watching TV, sitting on the couch, thinking if the bird should be gray or white and wondering about it's gender and if i should get 2 birds so it wont be lonely. That's when i heard the knock. I stood up, went to the old wooden door and opened it. For my luck, Ritsu was there and his friends..? There was his older brother, a blonde dude and a ginger dude. I stood there in confusion for less than a second when they spoke up ''Can we go in?'' I nodded yes and they went in. Jesus, they were all soaked and what i assume Ritsu's older brother is panting. Looks like they ran.
       
        ''Make yourself at home. May i ask why are you all out at this time and why were you running?'' Everyone ignored the question but thanked me. I guess it was a touchy question to start with. They continued to talk about whatever it was while i sat back on the couch and resumed my channel switching.
       Suddenly Ritsu asked me if i was feeling left out and i nodded no. I found some old news of Black Vinegar school getting shattered and the guys started flipping out, except for Ritsu's brother who had his same old blank stare. He didn't seem to care at all. I shrugged it off. After they calmed down i decided to go to my room. I told them that and went upstairs. I opened the door and flopped on my bed. I stared at the ceiling, until i heard a knock on my door. 

      ''Come in'' The door opened and revealed Ritsu. I stood up and asked him what's wrong. 

      ''I didn't want you to be alone.'' I sat there in awe, but that still doesn't explain it, since it will be pretty boring in my room. He went in and observed the room. He looked through some of my old books that i even forgot were there and he finally spoke up "Some interesting books you got here" I thanked him. He continued looking around until someone from downstairs shouted "Ritsu, come down, we have to leave!" He said sorry that he had to go and said our goodbyes.
      I flopped down on tye bed again, feeling lonely once again. I just remembered that i have homework so i stormed up, went up to the desk and stared at it. I sighed as i sat down and started doing it. Quite boring. The math questions were easy and all. I quickly rushed through it .
     I went downstairs to get my phone and start looking for a nearby pet shop. The closest one was like a mile away so i shrugged it off and said that i will get it tomorrow. I looked at the time and it was 11 in pm. I sighed and went  upstairs to my room and changed into my pjs, flopped down on the bed, tucked myself in and fell asleep.
