Two of them teamed up and attacked me. I blocked one's dagger, but one slipped by and caught my left cheek. It stung slightly as I swiftly wiped the blood away. "You still haven't answered my question. If I have to beat the answer out of you then you leave me no choice," I flung myself at the strongest looking one. He was of a slightly stronger build than the others, and he easily blocked my attack, holding the blade with his hand.

He ripped my blade from my hands and pulled me forward. This took me by surprise, and he immediately seized the chance to strike.

A blunt force hit my abdomen, and I sank to the ground, gasping for air desperately. The clatter of my sword hit the ground next to the guy's feet. I was so lost on who these people were. The three companions left out of the whole commotion soon closed in, and I could hear their laughter in my current position.

"Save us some fun will you, Hansen?" Was Hansen was the one who brought me to his feet? "Look at him! One hit and he went down! Hey, watch this," a guy on my right side sputtered. Suddenly, a sharp pain entered my side, and I was sent a few feet away. I clutched at my side in pain from the kick he dealt. My eyes were clenched shut as I bit my lip to contain myself. There was no way I would show signs of absolute weakness.

"Calm it, Gertrude. Meri said to bring him back alive or she would kill us all," I hear Hansen, but my hearing started to ring loudly as more pain became more evident on my side. Footsteps, however, became more apparent as they got louder. I slowly tried to open my eye, and I saw Hansen crouch down to examine me. He grabbed my face roughly and pulled my face closer to his. "Except for a few scratches and bruises, he'll do. She should be satisfied with this. Eisner, did you bring the rope?"

The guy I assume was Eisner was shuffling in his satchel for the said rope. I stared at Hansen's face and he took notice in my eyes. "My, my. You got some great emeralds right there sonny. Maybe Meri would let me have them as a prize for capturing you?" I could feel my sweat build up, and my anxiety rise. Who was this Meri lady he keeps mentioning, and why was he so fascinated with my eyes?

A rope was handed to Hansen, and he kicked my side, forcing me on my stomach. He placed his foot on the center of my back, playing around with different pressures to see if I would react with cries of pain. I could not help but shed a few tears as I bit my bottom lip to the point where it broke through the skin. Silently in the back of my mind, I saw Bakugou. His angry expression turned from me as if he was disappointed in me for giving up so easily.

"The barrier is close to breaking. Tie him up fast, so I can get us out of here before they notice us." I couldn't recognize the voice. My head was swallowed in pain as my arms were roughly forced to my back. The rope itself was rough for it rubbed against my skin, irritating it. He tied them closely together, so much so that it felt like I might lose blood pressure in both hands.

"Done. Grab his weapon and let's move out." My weight was shifted, and Hansen threw me over his shoulder. My blood was rushing to my head as I stared emptily at the ground. I was supposed to be strong, so what am I if I can't even fend off a couple of people?

On instinct, my eyes started to swell with tears, and I quietly cried. I was weak and worthless. I have no idea what lies ahead of me, mom. Am I allowed to be scared? Is it right to be afraid, all because I am too weak to protect myself? The people around me started to walk away and Hansen followed behind. I could do nothing but stay quiet as they carried me off. I suddenly heard a cracking in the sky, and a shattering effect as bits of the barrier fell into pieces. I could now sense my friends' presences and even Bakugou's, but they were too far away.

"Quick Gertrude, transport us back. I don't like this presence heading our way. It's moving too fast to be human," he was right as he said those words. I couldn't sense anything that was moving for us. I could see one person freeze with fear in the tremendous presence they say it gave off. I couldn't tell who they were sensing. "Seems you bring more trouble with you, brat," Hansen spat hatefully. I felt my weight be dropped, and my face collided with the ground. I cried out in pain as it burned harshly from the impact. A hand grabbed the back of the shirt, and I was tossed aside. I landed awkwardly on my arm, and I felt extreme needling pain shoot through it. My eyes were widened as I screamed in suffering, and I received a kick to the stomach as a response. It was an angry response from the one I did not recall their name. My arm carried no feeling, except for pain.

"Keep it down. You're annoying," his head picked up in the direction of the power, and he trembled before muttering, "it's here." I tried to look, but my arm made my eyes clamp shut to keep the tears back. Strong updrafts sent dust flying, and everyone covered their faces. When the dust settled, I pried one eye open, and a smile weakly placed itself on my face. His ash-blonde hair barely moved, and his glaring red eyes were staring at the leader. He had yet to see me in my state, as pitiful as I looked.

"You must be the owner of the presence we felt. You're pretty fast, are you sure that you are human?" Hansen picked. His face twisted to a sickening grin as he twirled out his blade from the hilt on his hip. Bakugou stances himself in a fighting position. "You couldn't sense us until that barrier, I assume belonging to you, went down. Damn, I thought this might be easier to take this brat without a problem, but it looks like we got to deal with you first," at the end of his words, Bakugou was confused until he finally stopped to see me. I could see his expression change to a surprised one, but it faded to a more pissed off look.

"You stupid bastard!" he yelled at me. I flinched and closed my eyes. I didn't want to see him angry at me in this state. "I'm going to kick your ass after this, you hear me!" I opened my eyes and look at him confused. His voice sounded so strong and prideful without any hesitation. His focus was redirected at Hansen and Gertrude. Gertrude had his weapon ready in his hands and so did Eisner. "Now tell me who sent you and why before I pummel your sorry asses into the ground. To top it off, why not start by getting rid of those shitty disguises. You are not fooling me that easily," he threatened darkly. Eisner kicked off into laughter as his form drastically started to change to a bigger and more disfigured creature. Hansen and Gertrude also changed in appearance, but the one by me stayed the same, watching curiously as their teammates as they changed.

My eyes widened in fear as their forms started to take place. Their skin color was dark, yet Hansen seemed to dawn a lighter color than the other two. Sharp teeth and disturbingly long tongues wiped over each sharp canine. They were creatures I've never seen before with the ability to shapeshift. I checked on Bakugou, and his stance never wavered. He was completely calm and unchanging before his opponents. "Foolish being. We are Crogeaths known for our complex combat styles. You stand no chance against us in our true forms!"
