The two of us both recieve an earful from Iida expressing his concern like a worrisome parent when we get back. The words that trial against me barely faze me at all, nor does the little introducaion with our new acquaintance--the one who helped us get back safely.
Krishima bashfully smiles and gets to talking to Iida about what he knows about any disappearances. The guy actually confides to us a lot of useful information even knowing he might become a target for doing so. Now that he stands at a closer distance, I can see that his eyes share the same color as Bakugou’s. The set of simmering red dawns far superioir than the finest clear-cut rubies.
I can feel a certain famillair glare pinning me down from where I am on the bed. Earlier, Bakugou did not care about my conditon, rather, he found more anger in the fact we were late and wandered off. He chewed me out, leaving Uraraka all to her cheery self in the other reserved room. It seems a little unfair if you ask me. She was the one who wanted to go find the guy.
How childsh am I?
“What the hell is wrong with you? You always get yourself in danger!” He wipes at my forehead roughly with a damp rag. There’s the concern I was hoping for.
I was hoping for?
His eyebrows sink inwards as he pinches the bridge of his nose. “Why do you always get in trouble when I’m not around?” He sighs outwardly towards me almost as if he wants me to feel guilty in a way--or something like that I guess. I sweat nervously, feeling guilty-ish knowing it is true. Last time I was in danger, I was kidnapped by a crazy-masochist lady without him nearby.
It’s sad, but awkwardly true in every sense.
“I know,” I mutter. A little part of me wishes he does not hear, yet I have this sneaky feeling he hears me just fine. He is sitting next to me afterall.
“From now on, you stay by my side. Either it be during a mission, a patrol, or nightly guard duty. It’s bad enough that you have that thing on your arm that I have to extinguish.”
“Okay, okay, I got it,” I admit defeatedly. I know I can be a bit clueless, even a bit oblivious to everything, but I just want to be strong. I guess I can admit that I want to be as strong as All Might himself, like in the legend. All Might is- well, was the strongest hero in the world. He had this legendary sword only a few could ever wield.
It’s location remains unkown, yet I have a theory that any royal family from any kingdom could have their hands on it.
“Oi, nerd. Four-eyes wants us to pay attention.” I look up feeling confused after being pulled away from a few interesting thoughts. The damp rag continues to rub on my forehead and chin. Iida brings forth Uraraka, and she sits with me on the bed. With a quick adjustment of his frame, he brings the meeting to a start.
“Well, guys, it seems we can head back to the Capitol now that we have all the information we could possibly possess,” he pauses shortly to address Kirishima. “Which we are all grateful for your compliance.”
Bashfully again he smiles a sharp grin. “Like I said, no problem. While I have the spotlight, I have a request. If you guys don’t mind?”
“Not at all,” Uraraka and I chime.
“May I join your party,” then all of a sudden he kneels down. A respective notion to his request. Iida stands shocked, then he looks at Uraraka if she can help. She doesn’t help him though in the slightest. She doesn’t have the power to say if he can join or not. That role belongs to me since I lead. Instead, her choclate, puppy eyes beg at me.
“Aw, Izu we can’t decline such an offer. We’ll have a new member to travel with!” Then she drifts forward and cups my ear to isolate her voice to me. “You can sleep longer with more people on night guard duty.”
