“You better have a good fucking answer for that bullshit.”
“Are you not feeling well, Midoriya?” Iida comes closer and places a hand on my forehead. “You are a bit warm. Perhaps you should stay here, and Uraraka can get you something from the market if you stay.” He lowers his hand, and it falls to his side. Before I can answer, Bakugou moves me back, creating some space between Iida and I.
“You’ll be staying here whether you want to or not.” He let’s go of my arm and sneers at Iida. “Don’t you have somewhere you need to be, four-eyes.” Iida’s brow cocks, and his ears flush a cherry red.
“Uraraka, let’s go.” He swiftly rotates on his heel and leaves a little angry. Uraraka hesitates before she gives me a nervous smile. She gives a small wave and lets the door softly click behind her. I swear I could see that nervous sweat drop hanging by her head.
“You didn’t have to insult his glasses you know?” I sit back down on my bed, allowing my back to crash onto the soft sheets.
“Does it really fucking matter? He was being annoying and unnecessary.” He stomps over and sits on his own respective bed, finally slipping off his shoes. “How do you know that girl who works here? The one with the horns.”
“Pony? She’s a good friend of ours from a few years back. Uraraka actually knows her better than I do.” He grunts in respondents to me. I wonder why he brings her up? I never expected him to question about things. Usually, he just tends to go along as things go by. “They were childhood friends before Uraraka got into witchcraft."
The atmosphere becomes consumed by silence as the wind brushes up against the window. It clatters briefly before settling down. I take advantage of this time to slip off my own shoes and set them by the end of my bed. After my shoes thump on the floor, I fall backwards to hit the soft pillow. It smells fresh and clean, and it makes me feel so comfortable by how soft it is.
"We'll be leaving once I wake up, so be ready to leave by then."
I decide not to answer. I can hear him shift on his bed, and I also sense a feeling of something. Could it be that I am tired too? It can't be so since I slept quite a bit before now.
"I would prefer it if you would stay here, but I'm going to need you if we're going to fix that problem on your arm." I only hum in response, too tired apparently to respond. I close my eyes to greet the familiar darkness behind my eyelids. It's not cold like before whenever I tried to sleep. For some odd reason, I feel warm.
I feel something shake my arm, waking me up from the warmth. My eyes stare up at a blurry figure kneeling beside me. A fruity smell filters my nose, and I blink again to see a smiling girl before me.
"Pony?" I sit up to rub at my eyes. Did I fall asleep, and who put this blanket on me? Oh, is Bakugou still here? I look off to my side to see his bed in a mess. His shoes are missing, and his presence is gone as well. "Did he leave without me?"
Pony stares at me as she stands up from her kneeling position. She uses her hands to tell me that he had left moments ago before she walked up here to wake me.
"So he left without waking me. Now what am I supposed to do? Did he at least leave a message before he left?" Her eyes light up as she digs in her pocket. She pulls out a small, folded paper.
I take the note from her hand and unfold it. The paper unfolds without a sound, unless you want to count the sound of my fingers moving on it. I try to use the natural light from the window to read it. The light hits the paper, lighting up the small note to reveal words written in ink. His handwriting is a little neat, but on the other hand could use some work.
