I tried to walk back to camp as Jasper and Bellamy carried Finn. Slowly my vision started getting fuzzy and I blinked to try and get it to go away. When were about half way back, past the steep incline, so I only had to hang in there a little longer.

"You okay?" Monroe asked as I stumbled.

"Yeamo..." I stammered before falling.

"Bellamy!" Monroe screamed. "Something is wrong."

Everything around me blurred and I watch the sky stretch around me in swirls. My body went numb and Bellamy's hand on my cheek had no feeling. I struggled as black spots crossed my vision.

"Hold on, Layla," he urged, his voice echoing endlessly,

"Icantfeel..." I tried to speak.

"I know, hold on!"

Jasper turned to Bellamy in my distorted field of view and said something but the only word that got my attention rang louder than anything else. Poison. The world rushed around me and I gasped as I was rested on top of something hard. Clarke's face hovered above me.

Some time passed, but I had no idea how long. I was trying to stay conscious, the black dots getting larger and heavier. I blinked rapidly and then gasped as a heavy scream sounded beside me. I turned my head with what movement I could manage and saw Finn screaming beside me. Clarke had her hand inside of Finn's chest.

I let out a moan as the darkness grew closer and Octavia hovered over me.

"Clarke!" she cried out, the sound dragging in my ears for several seconds.

"Oh, we're losing her!" Clarke's voice rang out.

The darkness took over.

I groaned as I suddenly became aware of my surroundings. A deep breath left my body and I tried to stretch my limbs.

"Hey Layla," a sweet voice greeted.

"Oc-Octavia," I murmured and opened my eyes.

The girl was smiling at me next to my bed. She gripped my hand tightly as I stirred. "It's about time you woke up!"

"How long was I out?" I asked her.

"A day and a half," a voice answered me from behind.

I turned my head and saw Bellamy on the other side of the bed, smirking at me.

"Bellamy," I said. "I'm sorry."

"What are you sorry for?" Bellamy asked with a raised eyebrow. "The Grounder almost killed you. Luckily we found an antidote when we captured him." Octavia shifted awkwardly at his words.

"All that matters is that she is alive," Octavia told him firmly.

"No, that's not all that matters," Bellamy bitterly shot back at her but then sighed and gave me a sideways grin. "But for now, it's good enough for me."

I looked forward and saw Clarke instructing Raven on how to treat Finn's bandages as they hovered over the boy's bed.

"Wait. Where are you going?" I heard Finn ask.

I rapidly looked to Bellamy for answers. Then I noticed he looked ready to go somewhere as well.

"You're leaving?" I questioned.
