I sigh and after a few days I leave, heading home to Amber.
Once I enter the house I look around. It was very dark and cold, "Amber...? Dear...? Where are you..?" I felt a cold touch in my shoulder and I jumped, only to see a sleepy Amber rubbing her eyes.
"Sorry, I was just sleeping... it's so early..."
"Oh, yeah... sorry... I wanted to see you and I couldn't wait..."
She smiles a little, "Well I'm glad you're back.. come on.. let's go to bed."
And with that, Amber and I head to our room and lay down together, falling asleep together quietly and quickly. My arm around her side, softly holding her as we sleep. Once we wake up it's around 11 in the morning. I smile softly and kiss Amber's head softly, "Morning sunshine."
She laughs a little, "Man you're cheesy."
I smile more, "I aim to impress." She smiles with me and we get up, going about our daily life happily. We have breakfast together and we go on our date, it went amazing. We both had a wonderful time at dinner and caught up on what I had missed while at the hospital. This went on for a few years, we got married and we had a... kid?
