Jude (6Callie's POV
"Moms, can we please go on a bike ride. Just Jesus and I." I practically pleaded to my moms."Have Brandon, Mariana, and Jude go with you." Mama said to me as moms were setting up the table for dinner.
"Brandon can't ride a bike for the life of him, Mariana I'm pretty sure is scared of falling so doesn't want to get on a bike let alone relatively go near one, and don't even wanna question Jude's abilitys involving a bike." I said.
"Okay, and what is all of that supposed to mean to us?" Mom questioned me.
"Well Jesus and I are a little better at riding bikes and we want to go on this cool trail we found."
"Oh yeh, and where is this cool trail you found?" Mom asked.
"Um, it's like by these bushes and this one tree." I said actually unsure considering there was no cool trail Jesus and I even knew about.
"Well, tell you what, Mike is coming over for dinner, how about I tell him to bring his bike and you guys can show him this cool real trail you found." Mom said giving me a grin. She wasn't as dumb as I thought. I would never win this one.
"Yeh but that's boring." Jesus said interrupting mom.
"So what your saying is that Mike is boring? Well, I will definitely make sure to tell him that."
Mama let out a snicker from the side as she was prepping the salad.
"Pleaseeeeee!!!!!" I wined as Jesus also did.
"No." Mom said turning away from us and mixing the mac n cheese.
"Your reasoning behind your biased opinion?" Jesus said.
Moms both laughed.
"Yeh, what is your reasoning behind your biased opinion Stefanie." Mama asked her.
"Well, let's see here, Mike will be here soon and it would be quite rude to leave because we have a guest coming over who always loves seeing your beautiful faces. Two it's getting somewhat dark and I don't want just you two out there alon-"
"But we can bring flashlights!" Jesus interrupted mom once again.
"Third" mom said completely ignoring her sons input.
"Dinner will be ready and you will be extremely hungry when you get back and I am not feeding you because dinner is now or never. And that is my reasoning. End of conversation. Go round up your siblings and wash your hands." Mom finished sounding somewhat irritated.
"Ugghhhh." Jesus groaned.
I knew immediately that was the wrong move on his part.
"Excuse me? What did I just hear? Want to repeat that?" Mom questioned, her eyes getting real wide.
