Jude (6Stef's POV
"Hey, no running!" I yelled as I caught Jesus and grabbed him into my arms. He squirmed around."And what do you have in your mouth?" I asked him as I gently grabbed his chin.
"Mhbhh" he mumbled with his mouth shut.
"Tell me what's in your mouth." I said as I tried prying his mouth open but with no luck.
"Jesus Adams Foster, spit it out!" I sternly said with a tone that left no room for argument while he tried getting out of my grasp desperately.
"Nooooo!" He shouted as some of whatever in his mouth had now ended up in my hand.
"Mom you wasted some of my food." He said sounding somewhat disappointed as he had finally gotten free of my grasp. I couldn't tell if he was more upset with himself or me.
"Is this candy?" I asked looking at my hand.
"Yeh." He said looking away.
"And where did you get this candy exactly?" I asked as he continued avoiding contact with me.
"The stash." He replied.
The stash? Immediately my mind went to the stash that was hidden under Lena and my bed, the stash that only Brandon and I knew about.
"What stash?" I asked as I went to the garbage and threw away the chewed up candy.
"Stop interrogating me mom. It's the candy in our house." I heard him comment as I was at the sink washing my hands.
"You mean the candy we bought specifically for handing out to the trick or treaters tonight? Jesus. You know you weren't supposed to eat that candy. Mama and I told you multiple times." I said scolding him.
"Well we got hungry." My son simply stated.
"We? So you meaning to tell me that your siblings got into the candy too?" I asked becoming more furious.
"Well I mean yeh." He said rocking from foot to foot. He knew he was guilty and so were his siblings too.
"Yeh but Callie didn't eat any." He said quickly.
"Oh, well that's good." I said sarcastically. I did find it odd that Callie hadn't had any candy considering she was almost always the ring leader. Or maybe Jesus was trying to cover up for her.
"How much did you eat?" I asked him as he seemed nervous which he had every damn right to be.
"One whole bag, but I didn't eat all of it by myself." He said so he wouldn't get in as much trouble.
"You guys ate a whole bag!" I yelled.
"What's going on?" Lena asked as she came into the kitchen finding me yelling at Jesus.
