The Circle Or Rings - Chapter 9
I really hope Pearl didn't see this. I'd be dead if she knew I could shift into a snake. Where is Pearl anyways? I looked around at my surroundings. The last thing I remember her doing was crawling towards the lake. Right? I glanced towards the water. Her clothes were there, but where is she? knew I couldn't yell out to her. It would just come out as a big 'Sssssssss.'
God Pearl where are you? I said in my mind.
'Who's there? Why are you in my head?' That sounded a lot like Pearl.
'Pearl is that you?'
'Yea dumbass, now who are you?'
I laughed at her, 'It's me. Olive.'
'Wait how are you in my head?' She gasped, 'How am I in your head?!'
I shook my head, she's too funny. 'I think it's like a pack mind link. Since we are both in this together, we acepted each other into a pack of our own.'
'Whoa. That's intence.'
I laughed, 'Okay, now where are you?'
"Uh...' She hesitated, 'You're not going to believe me. But I'm in the lake... as a shark.'
I saw a shark head pop out of the middle of the water.
'Well I believe you because I'm a snake.'
She gasped, 'Why do you get the cool one?'
'You can at least bite people's heads off when they piss you off.'
'You're right. I can!'
We both laughed. 'Pearl did your parents ever tell you how to shift back?'
"Uh, no?' That sounded more like a question.
'Well invision yourself as a human. But not yet, you're going to be naked. Let me do it first and you turn around. Please?'
'As long as you don't look at me.'
'Promise.'
Okay, myself. I started with my short stubby toes and thought of every inch of my body up till my hair. I opened my eyes and found myself face first in the dirt. "Hello ground," I mummbled before I quickly got up and put on my clothes again. "Okay, Pearl! I'm not looking!" I yelled with my face to the forest.
All I heard from behind me was some movement in the water before someone jumped onto my back. I took one step forward trying to catch my balance.
"We are practically like sisters now!" Pearl said excitedly.
I laughed, "Yes indeed we are."
Sooo..... you like? This is the last chapter before we swich to.... present day? I guess that's what you would call it. I hope you really liked this. I know its short and I'm sorry for that, next one will be longer. :)
