Chapter 11 - I swear I didn't know

The Circle Of Rings - Chapter 11

Clyde Locke

I listened to her every movement as she put her stuff away in her room. I still couldn't believe it was her. I never thought I would see her again. But yet here she was, in her room. She came and knocked on my door. I was there in no time. I opened the door a little too excitedly and she laughed at me.

"Where are mom and dad?" She asked.

"With the alpha and luna. They had important pack buisness to deal with in Europe." She nodded and looked as if she was contiplating something. "What's wrong?" I didn't like seeing this distressed look on her face.

"When will they be back?" She looked dead in my eyes.

"About two weeks. Why?" I blinked a few time.

"Just wondering." There was something she wasn't telling me, "You should get some rest. You have school tomorrow." She sighed and turned around.

I watched as she walked back into her room and closed the door before I went back into my room.

"So who's house are we going to hangout at today?"Raymond asked us.

Fredrick held his hands up in surrender, "My parents would kill me if we messed up my house." He placed his finger on his chin, "What if we go to Clyde's. We haven't been there in a while."

"Sure!" Raymond argeed.

"Whoa wait! We can't go to my house!" I stopped them from walking any further.

"Why not?" They asked at the same time.

Because Olive is there, "Because you just can't!"

Raymond walked around me with Fredrick hot on his heels. I groaned in frustration. "Please just don't! I swear I didn't know!" That made them stop and turn around.

"Didn't know what?" Raymond asked suspisously.

"I swear I didn't know she was coming! She just showed up last night without any warning! Don't hate me please, I can't make her leave."

Raymond turned around and ran towards my house. Oh shit!

Olive Locke

I was silently humming to myself in the kitchen while I made myself a snack. I really do hate the time difference between here and my school. I heard Clyde outside talking to Raymond and Fredrick. It's weird thinking he still has the same friends and I don't. Clyde tried to stop them from coming in the house, I don't care I'm going to have to face them sooner or later. After all, I'm on another packs land. Raymond came through the front door and searched every room till he got to the kitchen. He stopped when he saw me.

"Why hello Raymond!" I smiled, "Care for a snack?"

"Who are you?" He asked with frustration, "How do you know my name?"

I have to say, if I didn't hear Clyde call him Raymond outside, I wouldn't have recognized him. He was so much buffer now and had the alpha aruora all around him.

I smiled sweetly at him, "This is really a sad day when old friends don't recognize each other. I've got to say that if I didn't hear your name outside, I wouldn't have known who you were."

"I have no idea who you are."

"Well you should concidering you saved my face from exploding on the side walk when I had just turned 13." I sighed, "Those were the good days."

His eyes widned, "OLIVE?"

I laughed, "Someone is slow."
