1 | just a fanboy and a producer

Mark grew up wanting to become a rapper. It was a bit hard since many agency's would always turn him down. In the end he caught many different agency's attention not because of his rapping skills, but more for his ability to produce and write song lyrics.

He wasn't under a specific entertainment. He worked for many different companies because he was one of the best song writers and producers out there. He did have a boss but Mark thought of him more of an assistant, even if his assistant was older than him.

Mark lived in an apartment with his roommate Johnny who was a struggling idol. Just like Mark.

Mark was also a little a fan of famous soloist Donghyuck. He went under the name of Haechan. He's been a fan of him since Donghyuck's debut about a year ago.

He loved all of his comeback's and loved every song of his. Mark would never express his love for Donghyuck to anybody. He just wanted to be a secret fanboy.

Mark loved Donghyuck's vocals and wanted to meet him one day. He knew that he'd never meet him though.

"Mark! Wake up!" Mark woke up to his roommate yelling at him to wake up.

"I'm up! You can stop yelling at me Johnny," Mark said as he got up. His hair was crazy. Just like a chicken.

"Jeez no need to be moody chicken hands," Johnny snickered.

"At least I'm more active than you and I'm not even an idol," Mark told Johnny.

"Hey! I'm gonna debut soon! We're working on it and soon enough we're gonna debut!" Johnny said.

"I'll believe it when I see it," Mark says. He leaves his room and heads to the kitchen.

"Hey! Why do you gotta be so rude about it," Johnny says as he follows Mark to the kitchen.

"Sorry. What time is it?" Mark asked. SM entertainment had asked him if he can show up at 8:00 in the morning to work with one of their solo artists.

"It's 8:15. Why?" Johnny said.

"8:15! I'm late!" Mark yelled. He ran to him room and changed quick. Fix his hair. Grabbed an apple and ran out of the apartment leaving Johnny confused.

Mark ran to the company. He didn't have time to go in a car or any other way.

He finally made it to the company in 15 minutes. He was extremely late for showing up at 8:30.

He walked in.

"Hello! Are you here for an audition or other reasons?" The lady at the desk asked.

"No I'm here to work with an artist. I'm a song writer and producer," Mark said. The lady nodded her head.

"Is your name Mark Lee?" She asked.

"Yes," Mark replied.

"Yes you may go up to the 5th floor where they will be waiting for you there," The lady said. Mark thanked her.

He ran to the elevator and pressed on the 5th floor. After he made it to the 5th floor. He saw his boss.

"Mark! You're 30 minutes late!" He scolded at Mark.

"I'm sorry. I just woke up late because I started working on some song lyrics last night," Mark said looking down at his feet.

"If that's the case then you're off the hook Mark," He sighed shaking his head.

"Thank you," Mark said giving his boss an awkward smile.

"Now follow me. I'll be taking you to go work with your artist," He said with Mark following him.

"Which artist am I working with?" Mark asked. They never exactly told who he was working with.

"You'll see," He said. Mark wanted to know who it was. He hated that fact they were making it a surprise for him.

"Alright he's in there," Mark's boss said. He opened the door and entered. Mark followed right behind.

Mark entered the room and looked at the person sitting down. He couldn't believe it.

"Mark. This is Donghyuck or better known as Haechan. You'll be working with him for his new mini album," Mark's boss said. All Mark could do was stare at him.

"Hi! I'm Haechan but you can just call me Donghyuck," Donghyuck said as he waved at Mark.

Mark shook his head. He looked at Donghyuck again. He realized that this was not a dream.

"H-Hi. My name i-is Mark," Mark stuttered. He was too nervous and frankly a little too excited as well.

"Alright! I'll leave you two here so you guys can work on Donghyuck's new album," Mark's boss said. He bowed to both of them and left the room.

"Thanks for helping me with my new album. My last comeback wasn't such a big success," Donghyuck said. Mark went and sat down right in front of him.

Mark thought it was a wrong choice. He can feel his face heating up.

"I-I don't think your l-last comeback wasn't a b-big success," Mark said.

"What's wrong with me! I'm never this nervous. Maybe it's because I finally get to meet Donghyuck," Mark thought to himself.

"I also heard that you were one of the best producers and song writers so I thought maybe you can help me with this new album instead of my other producer," Donghyuck said with a smile on his face.

"Mark! Calm down. He's gonna noticed that you're getting nervous and think something's wrong. Just act chill," Mark told him self again.

"I'm glad to help! I started writing a song already... if you don't mind at all," Mark awkwardly chuckled.

"Oh no! It's fine! Can I see the lyrics?" Donghyuck asked. Mark nodded his head.

He opened his bag and took out a notebook. He looked through the pages and found the page he was working on the night before. He gave it to Donghyuck and he started to read it.

"I like the lyrics!" Donghyuck said happily as he looked up at Mark.

"You do!" Mark said a bit to excited.

"Yes. Although he some of the song consists of rapping. Rapping isn't my strong suit. Maybe I'll need to find someone who can rap this part," Donghyuck said.

"I can rap them for you. I also wanted to be come an idol. I can rap but I can also do a bit of singing," Mark said.

"Oh ok!" Donghyuck said still smiling.

"I'll sing it the way I had it in mind," Mark said. Donghyuck nodded his head and gave the book back to Mark.

Mark smiled back at him.

I was gonna have it as Donghyuck is the song writer and Mark's the idol but I wanted to see this instead.
