I honestly didn't feel cold, but Niall insisted I was going to die because of my stupid action. He just began to stare into my eyes. I looked down shyly and began to walk away, I didn't want to get into this. It's all too real, and I don't want this to go any further like it has already had.
Destiny and I were never suppose to even be gone for this long, we should be leaving back, but there's this one voice telling me not to flee, that this lad can help. Then again, he can't. He's only a person.
Unlike me.
I can hear his faint voice behind me, as I walk towards the apartment to get Destiny and then leave like nothing happened. Because NOTHING should've happened... I felt my legs picking up speed and then I soon realized I was running with a few tears streaming down my face. "Iris! Slow down! Hold on!!"
I felt the wind slam into my face, causing me to feel my hair being tossed around.
"Iris! Iris! Iris! IRIS! SLOW DOWN!!! WAIT UP!!! THERE'S NOTHING TO RUN FROM!"
That's exactly it. There is nothing to run from, Niall is so caring, and yet I shouldn't run away, but I can't get too close. It's confusing! I know! I came across the apartment and ran into the his elegant well, messy apartment room. Destiny instantly stood up, and looked at me.
Her nose was bleeding, and I stopped in my tracks to see her eyes. Her eyes weren't like mine, but they were turning a light color of her brown chocolate eyes. I looked sharply to the lad next to her who held a tissue, with a bright red color which is blood.
"I tried to stop it, but it won't stop Iris!!! It won't! It just won't!" Destiny whined out in sorrow.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and quickly turned to see Niall with a face of confusion and sorrow. I shook off his hand and walked to Destiny slowly, feeling my heart skip a beat every second I got closer. I didn't want to move my hands, because blood is technically considered water. I looked at my sister, with a face that couldn't be read.
Her skin was pale and her eyes were a light brown. Her lips were curved into a frown and her nose down was covered in streams of fresh blood, dripping down from her nose.
"I tried helping her, but I don't know. Her nose bleed won't stop." The guy said in denial...
I slowly extended my right hand towards her face, and she flinched a bit as she felt my cold hand on her diligent cheek. I took a deep breath, I never ever tried to do what I'm about to do right now. I slowly closed my eyes and fixed my focus on Destiny. Soon enough I felt something dribble down my nose. I opened my eyes slowly to see Destiny had stopped bleeding from her nose and she looked at me with shock. I know she wouldn't think anything crazy, because she knows I get a lot of nose bleeds, but I don't know what the other guys might say of what had just happened in front of their eyes.
"Iris, you're bleeding now." Destiny said gasping and covering her mouth with her left hand. Niall walked to my side in a bit of a rush and put an arm around me guiding me to the bathroom. I didn't mind that in this situation. He rushed me to the bathroom and sat me down on the toilet seat. I didn't resist.
"Just sit, I'll help you." He said in a kind voice that made me comfortable. He actually did help me, and I didn't really budge when he came in close to help me with my nose bleed.

I awoken on the same couch that I had slept on for the two days. I saw Destiny in the kitchen out of the corner of my eye and smiled. We were safe from beatings, well at least just for today. We have to go back, and that's just final, because that is our mum for God's sake. I rose up from my position on the couch and walked to Destiny who smiled at me. "Good Morning Sister." She said in a chuckle.
I laughed too and smiled back, I wasn't the one who was well with chit chat. I think we all established that. "What are we going to do today?" Destiny asked in a serious yet chilled back voice.
"We're going back to our flat today, that's what." I replied walking to the island in the kitchen.
"No! We can't! I mean, these people saved us!" Destiny cried out in anger and sadness.
"It's final. They didn't save US, they saved nobody. I saved US. I was the one who ran and saved YOUR life, and my decision is final. She's our mum and we have a right to go back."
Destiny scrunched up her eyebrows and crossed her arms in angry and sadness.
"This isn't fair." She sneered.
"Life isn't fair, I should've left you there to die, shouldn't I have?"
"Well, being the bitch you are, you should've." She snapped back at me.
"I don't think I'm being the bitch, I believe you're being unreasonable. One Direction isn't going to just let us be near them for long. We're going to be a pest. Think clearly for once Destiny!"
"I am. You're not considering the fact that we're just going to end up in this situation again! BUT WITH NO ONE TO HELP US." She screamed at me with fury in her voice.
I put my hands on my hips and begin to stare at her with pity. I wanted to slap her silly, but I know that'd kill her and break her heart even more. "This is why mum beats you more." I whispered.
I saw how her expression went from anger to an emotional break down. Sadness swept over her face and I didn't mean to say that to her, it just came out. I could see the tears drip down her brown chocolate eyes and she began to cry silently.
"Wh-What?" She managed to mumble out.
I bite my lip and was about to throw my arms around her and embrace her into a hug, but I wasn't in the mood to, I felt disgusted that she wanted to never go back the woman who gave birth to us. Niall and his friend walked in confused on what was going on. I just stood there speechless and not wanting to leave my ground.
"What's going on?!" Niall said in confusion.
"N-Nothing." Destiny mumbled out clear enough for us to understand.
"If you excuse us, we were on our way." I said brushing past between Niall and his friend.
I went to the bathroom and locked the door behind me. I turned on the faucet and then began to work my magic. I played with the water and began to feel the emotions drain out of me. As the water arised from the sink and was just still in the air, I examined it. How water is so fragile, but yet so important. Water can be gone in just seconds, like a life. Water can be so important to a person, like a normal person. Water can be so hard to find, like a good person. Water can come in many forms.
Like people.
And water is about 90% of humans...
So aren't we alike?
