The plane landed down softly, and then the next step to our plan was to be calm and normal for the next few days. Melony and I went together to go and grab our luggage. She carried two bags and I carried six, she helped me take some of my bags to the taxi we both flagged down.
She decided to stay with me for a few days, and the company I was working for told me they rented me a flat. Two story and glass, you could see the outside, but no one could see you on the inside, so the glass wasn’t so bad.
Once we got there, Melony was bubbly and ran to the door, opening it up with the keys I gave her. She ran inside and set the bags down; I followed right behind her, so shocked that the company got me this flat.
Melony went upstairs and got the second best bedroom, she took her bags in there and got settled down in there. My room was big; it had a nice view too that overlooked a lake behind it. In my room there was already furniture in it. I hanged my jackets and cardigans in the closet and placed all my shoes too in the closet.
The dresser I had, I put all my pants and shirts in there and also my under garments. My bathroom had a huge tub, and I started to neatly unpack all of my facial things onto the white marble counter. All my hair products were placed on the shelves that were over the bathtub.
My bedroom wall color was white with splattered paint over it. It looked pretty cool, the floor was wood, and as I finished unpacking a few photos and valuables to me, I relaxed.
I admired my room that already was furnished nicely, the TV was on the wall, hanging, and I walked out of my room and walked downstairs to see everything already furnished.
Melony came downstairs and smiled at me very brightly, “It’s only seven and I’m so thrilled to be here! We should go have fun for today!”
“I thought I’d go to the lake.” I answered back to her.
She frowned, “I know that you do the whole natural water thing, but it’s way too freezing for me to go swimming!”
“Oh, I forgot about that. Okay, where did you want to go to?” I asked her nicely, waiting for her to reply.
She grinned again, “How about we go shopping and then head off to get food and then after that we just go walking around and explore! This is London for God’s sake! Let’s get wild and crazy!” She yelled out in excitement.
“I think you’re getting a tad too crazy there, how about we just go shopping and then we go out to eat. I’ll pay for you.”
Melony shook her head, “It’s fine, I can handle myself, but anyways that’s good. Let’s go get ready for this weather and then we can just head out!”
I nodded, “Sounds great meet you back down here in thirty minutes?”
“How about an hour, please?” She pleaded.
I gave her a startled face, “What?”
