"Are you coming tomorrow?" Tahani asked as they walked back to Kaycee's house.
It was about ten p.m., time went faster as they thought. It was already dark outside and Kaycee was quite sure that she would get in trouble for coming home so late without asking.
"Sure," she responded. "Who is teaching?" Not that she would know the people.
"Brian Friedman" Tatiana said. "It's going to be exhausting"

Surprisingly, Kaycee didn't get in trouble. At least not that day, probably because her parents were too happy that she'd met with friends. Who knows.
The next day, Kaycee got ready for the next dance class. Bailey picked her up because Kaycee's house was on her way.
"And? Excited?" she asked as they walked next to each other.
Kaycee looked at her bewildered. "Should I be?" She asked. It was always good to answer questions with counter questions.
"I don't know," Bailey shrugged, "I'm just pretty sure that Jojo told Brian about Sean and you"
"Sean and me?" Kaycee repeated. "What can you tell about that?"
Bailey laughed and shook her head. "You are like the first one ever to kill a dance with him"
"I think I just saw you doing that a few days ago" Kaycee responded.
"No." Bailey's eyes grew wide as she shook her head. "Seriously, no one was ever able to adapt to Sean as you were. And he usually doesn't really adapt to the dance style from others. I don't know what you did with him yesterday but it was definitely amazing. Never saw him like that"
Kaycee chuckled and shook her head. "You are overacting"
"Nope, definitely not. I am sure you'll dance together today"

They arrived at the studio a few minutes later. Kaycee followed Bailey to the group that stood in one corner, laughing about something. She felt a little bit unwell to just bump into that group but she was greeted excitedly by the rest. She looked at Sean for a second, who looked away.
Great.
How long did it need to adapt to a new situation?
They started stretching and warming up. Brian showed the choreo and damn, that were a lot of sharp and fast movements. Kaycee couldn't wait.
They started slowly until everyone got the moves. Then Brian split the groups and let the girls dance first.
"Everyone ready?" he asked and got approving nods from everyone. "Then let's go"
He started the music. The choreo wasn't easy, keeping track of your movements and your surroundings could get difficult at some points but Kaycee loved it. Her bare feet flew over the dance floor, her body carried the choreo into execution as if it knew it since forever. The song was over fast and Kaycee stopped her improv to take a breath.
"Amazing girls! Alright guys, it's your turn!" Brian clapped in his hands. Kaycee and the rest of the girls walked into the corner of the room, leaving the middle for the boys to dance. Kaycee watched from the corner, Bailey stood right next to her.
They practiced some more until it was time for filming. Kaycee sat down in on corner, watching the first dancers, a trio out of three guys, dancing. They did justice to the choreo, it really was satisfying to watch. The next one was a girl, Kaycee didn't know her name, and she also did amazing.
"Alright, alright! Sean, would you come up next?"
Sean stood in another corner of the room and came into the middle with his hands in his pockets. Brian exchanged some words with him, he just shrugged.
"So... I think about a partner... Kaycee is your name, isn't it? The one with the black shirt?" Brian looked at Kaycee full of expectations.
It took a second. "Yes. Yes Kaycee, that's my name," she said and Bailey next to her laughed.
"Well than get up here and smash that choreo!"
She did as she was told and stood next to Sean. The music started and both waited for the choreo to start.
Different than the first time dancing together, Kaycee didn't feel like Sean wasn't communicating with her. During the whole time she knew exactly where he was, she felt his presence as if they were dancing together since ever.
It didn't seem to be different for Sean. He seemed to feel that Kaycee offered him the first solo and took his opportunity. Even though they didn't speak with each other, every movement matched the next one. They moved synchronically without even looking at each other and again, blew every one away.
The room was screaming as Kaycee moved her upper body to the rythm of the song with Sean dancing right behind her. She smiled at him, he returned, than she straightend up for her last move. She was breathing heavily as she came to a halt next to Sean.
"That was... awesome" Brian said, walking towards them and giving first Kaycee, then Sean a high five. "They were amazing, weren't they?" he asked the rest of the room and the applause burned up again.
"Thank you" Kaycee said, biting her lip to hide her smile.
Sean watched her from the side, only gave Brian a nod. With one wish of his hand Brian released the two of them back to their former places. Due to the fact that Bailey stood next to Josh right now - and that was were Sean stood earlier - Kaycee decided to just follow Sean.
"What did I say to you?" Bailey greeted her with a big grin.
Kaycee only rolled her eyes.
"You did amazing Kaycee, that really was incredible," Josh said.
"Thank you. I had a good partner, I guess." She tried to bring Sean into the conversation. He couldn't ignore her forever, right?
"That's true," Sean said. For a second he kept his face, then he laughed. "You truly were amazing Kayc. Wouldn't have been that good without you." And with that he left, saying he had a doctor appointment.
Bailey nudged Kaycee's side with her elbow.
"Stop it," Kaycee muttered and took a step aside.
