Backing up, (Y/N) hits into the chest of another man and looks back at the one in front of her. "Look, I don't want any trouble. I'm just here on holiday, that's all." She lies and he laughs.
"Me and you. We need a little chat."
The man behind takes her by the arm, pushing her forward to follow the slicked-hair guy into a secluded café, taking a table in the far corner.
"Sit."
(Y/N) doesn't move so the guy holding her pushes her down on the chair, keeping guard behind.
"What are you doing in Cadiz, (Y/N)."
"I told you. I'm on holiday. My daughter just turned eighteen, it was a birthday present." She replies.
"We both know that you're lying." He leans across the table. (Y/N) copies his moves, a smirk on her face. "So what if I am?"
"The boss wouldn't be happy if he knew you were here, chasing his treasure."
"I don't do that thing anymore, Will, everybody knows that."
"Retired for eighteen years. You and that husband of yours. Drake?" Will recalls and (Y/N)'s smirk falters.
"Little girl, Cassandra right?" He continues.
"Nobody in this business knows about her. You don't have the right to speak her name." (Y/N) hisses.
"How long has it been, sweetheart? Thirty years? Jeez you are old." Will laughs.
"You're the same age as me, jackass." She grumbles and he tuts. "Now, now."
"What do you want?" She asks, frustrated.
"You to stop searching for it, you know the boss will do anything to best you to it."
"Then I guess I better hurry along." (Y/N) smiles, standing but gets pushed down again, this time the guard's hand stays on her shoulder.
"I think he should come here, say a few words to you himself. Get you off course and back home to your perfect life."
Will dials a number on his phone and speaks in a hushed voice, a grin on his face the whole time. (Y/N) taps her nails against the table, glancing at the clock on the wall as he puts the phone down.
"You're lucky. He's close by."
"Will, we were friends right? I'm not looking for Atlantis, okay? You can trust me." She pleads.
"Except I can't." He points out.
"I don't want any trouble, alright. I've got a kid."
"A grown up one."
"But one nonetheless!" (Y/N) exclaims, the door opening.
"(Y/N)! Darling!" A voice says and she immediately winces at his tone, not daring to turn around. Will stands up, allowing the other to take his place, but (Y/N)'s eyes keep glued to the table.
"Oh, c'mon, sweet. Don't I get to see those eyes of yours?"
"You need to shut up and you need to do it now." (Y/N) snaps, angrily looking up.
"Still feisty, I see." He smirks.
His hair was almost jet black, straight and tidy, like the rest of his attire. Striking, cold, pale blue eyes that pierced her. He wore a suit, but without the blazer and the sleeves rolled up. The stubble on his chin was kept.
"Are you still doing this? Chasing after legends." (Y/N) asks, leaning across the table. "It's pathetic." She whispers and the smirk becomes more sinister, his fist clenched.
"I'll make you a deal. You and your little family head off home, forget all about Atlantis, and I won't kill you. Or you stay, but won't live long enough to see what the lost city looks like."
"Your little deals never go the way you make them." (Y/N) says and he chuckles. "You're too smart for your own good."
"No, I just know you. You and your sadistic little mind."
The man's face glows with rage and he also leans across the table, forcefully grabbing her chin. "C'mon, (L/N), play nice." He tuts, his finger stroking her cheek.
"My name's not (L/N)." She spits, pulling from his grip. "It's Drake."
"So you married Nathan after all. Funny how things work out."
(Y/N) stands and the man goes to push her down again, but the boss waves his hand. "Let her go."
She shakes her head at him. "Stay out of my way." She threatens.
"Or what, darling?" The sharp-suited man smirks, leaning back in the chair. "I'll see you soon."
(Y/N) goes to say something, but the man who dragged her in, takes the liberty of dragging her back out again. Once they were a safe distance away, he lets her go and she regains her composure.
"Mom?" Cassie sounds behind her and she plasters on a smile, turning around. "Hey, honey, sorry I needed the toilet. Had to go hunt for one."
"You do know the hotel's a short distance away? Has multiple toilets?" Nate says, joining the two.
"Yeah, well I found one closer. Come on, let's go check in."
Nate eyes his wife with suspicion, letting Cassie go on a bit and pulling (Y/N) back. "What's going on? You look a bit shook up."
(Y/N) shakes her head, patting his cheek. "I'm alright, cowboy. Just enjoying this."
Nodding, but not entirely convinced, Nate kisses his wife, following Cassie up the path and towards the hotel.
(Y/N) looks over to see the blue-eyed man leans against a wall, a cigarette in his mouth. He takes it out of his mouth, blowing her a kiss and she pulls a face in disgust, tearing her eyes away and walking up the path.
She didn't want to believe it when Cassie first told her. But this had just confirmed it.
Jax Chambers was indeed on the hunt for Atlantis.
And now, he had found (Y/N) after all these years.
