Maya's POV
"So your plan is to take revenge on Lucas," Scotty rolls his eyes.
The falls are packed full of people moving classes and I'm trying to let to many of them hear me.
"One its Riley's plan and second I'm supposed to break his heart," I try whispering the last part better.
"This isn't going to end well," Scotty says walking into his class.
"Tell me about it," I say to myself.
The hallways are empty besides me and a few other students who are mostly likely going to skip the day. I'd love to skip today just so I could get out of these clothes.
Instead of going to next period I run over to my locker and acted like I was pulling stuff out incase teachers walk by.
Someone whistling came down the hallway and I didn't bother to look up at who it was.
"Maya what...what are you doing?" its a deep voice.
I turn around and my eyes meet Lucas's, "Thinking about skipping."
"Where to?" Lucas probably had never skipped school before like Riley.
"One to change and two probably just chill on my roof."
"Can I come with?"
"Your like the poster child for academics are you sure you can miss a day?"
Lucas rolled his eyes and shut my locker, "I can handle a lot more than a city girl can handle."
"Let's go then," I challenge walking off.
