Maya's POV
I can't help but feel safe in his arms. He's walking me home in the freezing cold snow and he's cheeks are all red. He looks like a little boy that's six feet tall.
When I get to my apartment he's smiling like crazy and I can't help but letting a little smile escape my lips.
"I...I had a great time tonight," he's nervous around me.
"Same," I give a big and sweet smile.
"Do you want to go with me to my family's cabin next week?"
"And meet your dad?"
"Yeah it will give you a chance to know my parents better."
"So I'm meeting the parents," he nods his head, "Isn't that something boyfriend and girlfriend would do?"
He blushes and looks down at his feet, "Well.....I was kinda hoping that.....um....would you like to....maybe be my......girlfriend?"
The plan was working well.
"Yeah," I laced our fingers together, "I'd like that a lot."
"Good because if you didn't I was going to take that kiss back," he smiled, "It was just going to be a friend kiss."
I leaned over and kissed him so he'd stop talking. This kiss was longer and sweeter with a more gentle feeling towards it probably because he wasn't nervous.
"Do you kiss your friends like that?" I sass.
He smirks and wraps his arms tightly around me, "Definitely not."
