Chapter 5

I woke up with a pounding headache and legs sprawled across me. I sat up alert as I took in my surroundings.

"Stupid bitch you've taken the duvet of me, get the fuck back down now." An angry voice spoke. I quickly retreated back down before turning to who was next to me.

"Who are you?" I whispered, if I spoke loud my head would pound harder than it's pounding right now in response.

"We didn't fuck, I'm gay. Now that's cleared will you shut up!" I still hadn't gotten even a glimpse of the mans face but at least I knew I hadn't had a one night stand with anyone.

We both stayed quiet for a few minutes before he spoke again.

"So..." his muffled voice spoke.
"Will you shut up," I imitated as I lay looking at the floor.

He groaned in reply so I turned around to see what I'd done.
"Don't imitate me, me and my head hate it."

"Your head is nothing compared to how mines feeling." I replied a little more comfortably now as I'd realised who I was with.

"You didn't even drink last night,"
Oh yeah.

"Drinking to much water can give you a headache." I lied.

"Anyways, Daniel. How did I end up here?"

"You can't expect me to know if I drowned myself in alcohol last night. I'm still trying to figure out where I am."

"So this isn't you apartment?" I said growing a little scared.

"Oh wait- that's my vibrator, yeah it's my apartment."

I laughed in reply before sitting up with Daniel.

"Because I let you sleep here can you make me breakfast?"

"So let me get this straight, you had sex with some stranger last night and now you think your pregnant?" I was in the middle of eating breakfast with my new friend when Savannah called me asking me to come back to our apartment urgently. I was too cheap to buy a cab so I asked Daniel to drop me off, and now we're both sitting on the island whilst Daniels watching fascinatingly from the sofa.

"Yeah," She flinched.

Savannah has done her fair share of mischief in her life but this episode was way too far.

"Well what the fuck are you waiting for? Get to the pharmacy and go get the 24 hour pill!" I shouted as she rushed out quicker than quick.

"Wow." Daniel spoke for the first time since breakfast.

"Is this like, a normal thin-"

"Forgot my shoes!" Savannah interrupted as she entered again, but left before I could react.

The pharmacy wasn't far from our apartment so she arrived back quickly.

"Okay who knows how to use these." She said forcing the stick in our faces.

"Why've you bought a thermometer?" Daniel asked.

"Huh." She replied looking at the 2 tests and 1 thermometer she bought.

"Oh shit, it's okay 2 should be enough."

"Go piss on these sticks." Daniel said shoving her to the bathroom.

A few minutes later Savannah entered the room with an emotionless expression.

"Sooo..." I urged

"Can't you tell by my face."

"No? Just tell us Sav."

"I think it's pretty obvious for weather or not I'm pregnant."

"It's negative." Daniel shouted with the tests in his hand.

"Was that so hard!"

I was starting my first day at work tomorrow so I had Daniel come with me to the mall to find a new work wardrobe. Savannah would've come but she finally earned herself an interview.

"I'll sit here, you go find anything that screams 'sophisticated rich bitch'." I can't shop for the life of me so it was incredibly helpful having someone to do the work for me.

"Okay but if you want them to look rich they're gonna be expensive."

"You know what, fuck it." I immediately regretted that decision as soon as I said it.

These chapters have been kind of an insight as too how our characters are like, the next chapter will be the start of the actual plot.
