"You know he looks unbelievably familiar, I just can't put a name or place on where I saw him and it's driving me crazy. I mean how can I forget a face like that." I complained to Ethan as he showed me the system and technology I would be using.
"Because he's attractive or because he's scary." He replied. Gosh this workplace is terrified of Mr Hale.
"What's his name?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Nobody knows." He replied with a straight face. "What! Okay now I understand your phobia against him. He's so secretive and mysterious he doesn't tell anyone his name."
"No no. Everyone's just too scared to ask him."
"Wow. He's like a real life Voldemort without the powers." I said with a chuckle.
"Right your all set up. Now just call me if you need anything, I'm literally right outside your office."
"Okay, and thank you!" I replied before he left my new office. It was a small, boxed room with a front view that overlooked the city. A desk and chair occupied it whilst a bookshelf stood in the corner. Other necessities like draws, a sofa, shelves and a printer were there as well. I had everything I'd need so I'd never have to leave the room.

"How was your first day?" Savannah said way too cheerily. "Awful, I fucking hate it." My first day felt like 2 centuries. "What! It can't be that bad." She replied confused. "Oh trust me, it can."
"The bastard gave me my own office so of course I was happy and stuff but the only other people on the entire floor is my boss and this other guy. No one I can talk about menstruation and smear tests with! He's basically isolated me from the rest of the world."
"First of all, you can talk about that stuff with google- that's what it's for and secondly, why don't you ask him to move you?"
"Trust me, from what i'v gathered there's a bigger chance men can get pregnant than him saying yes to that." I replied before my phone started ringing. "One sec it's Daniel."
"This is Kylie Banks, how can I be at your service." I said to the phone in a posh voice that made me sound like someone from London trying to speak with an American accent.
"Ew don't ever speak like that again. That accent makes me want to scream. Anyways, you and savannah are coming over for dinner and to meet my family tomorrow."
"Why? We're not really at that stage yet; don't you think your moving things a little too fast here babe."
"No. My mom and dad are coming to see how me and my brother are getting on, they said bring your close friends. If I bring boys they'd automatically assume I'm dating them and would start planning a wedding. You too are the only female friends I have so your both coming and that's final." He said before ending it.
"Dinner at Daniels tomorrow, I don't know when and what the dress code is." Just as I said that, my phone signalled a text message from the one and only Daniel.
From: Daniel 🍆💦
7pm, you know my address, look sexy.

6pm, the next day.
"I don't get it. We're meeting his family, why would we need to look sexy of all themes." Savannah said as she applied a dark shade of eyeshadow.
"Maybe because his mom and dad are having family issues so he wants one of us to seduce his dad because Daniel thinks we're 'wifey material'." I replied and earned a slap on the head as well.
I wore a tight fitted, off the shoulder dress that reached just above my thighs and paired it with a silver necklace because I'm all about contrast.
Once Savannah had changed into her loose, white romper we headed off to Daniels apartment.
After knocking twice, a friendly Daniel opened the door to greet us.
"Finally bitches you came." Daniel said with a relived look. "What do you mean! We're like a minute late." Savannah replied offended. "Yeah, a minute extra I have to spend with my judgemental family." He said after letting us both in.
"Wow Daniel you can cook!" I said as the aroma of baked dishes filled my nostrils.
"No I ordered take out." He said with a grin. Typical Daniel.
"Come on hurry we need to get this over with so they can all go."
Although after stepping inside I wished I never made the awful decision of going in.
