MADELEINE QUITE CLEARLY finding it hard to deal with the way reece was acting with her. she knew she needed the extra studying and aid, but she didn't think reece's attitude was worth the effort of the class. maybe she could find a different tutor, a nicer more respectful guy in her class to help her. "he doesn't seem to be that way all the time maddie, maybe he had something on his mind" delilah stated to madeleine as she fumbled through her locker. "he has something on his mind everyday then, del. he's so mean and its like every minute my attention is in my book he has his eyes judging me," madeleine replied pushing the strands of her behind her ear.

as they sat in their seats elowen stated, "buttercup, just ask collins for a different tutor, i bet he can find someone else to tutor you." madeleine nodded in response. she was pondering asking him as well as they sat at their table. reece couldn't help but overhear their conversation and grow irritated. she was just going to replace him like that? he had only been tutoring her for a couple of weeks maybe a month and she couldn't handle brutal honesty? pathetic, he thought to himself.

he would be losing income he never had, money he could be putting into account for his sister and sickly mother. he didn't need the money her brother gave him then, why would he need it now? it was selfish to think that way, money is money. reece needed it whether he'd like to admit it or not. he impulsively got up from his chair and started walking over to the blonde. "madeleine, hey! tutoring after school. don't be late" reece stated to the girl with a smile. he didn't wait for a response and just gave her a thumbs up, not realizing how uncomfortable and awkward it made the both of em'. madeleine's mouth was open wanting to respond with a simple 'no,' but her lips couldn't form audible words so she sat in shock. "maddie, you okay?" delilah asked looking over at the blue eyed girl. "hey mads maybe he doesn't sound as bad as you say," winnie stated causing madeleine to glare at her friend.
